  1. If you get the hub centric one, there's no difference than fitting wider rims.
  2. Afan Tyres in Port Talbot did them. And there was no extra charge for a change of colour, Nixy.
  3. If it's just extra grip your're after you won't do better than Pilot Sports.
  4. That's right never too early to train em up
  5. When cold, around 30-40 at idle and upto the max when the revs are up. When hot, around 15 at idle and 50-60 at higher rpm. If you're using oil that is any thicker than about 10W 30, that may be your problem.
  6. Put it in 4th gear and floor it around 2000 rpm if the clutch doesn't slip then your problem is elsewhere.
  7. You run the risk of upsetting the TCS if you don't match the changes to both the front and rear.
  8. I'm afraid not. The car is currently on white Speedline Turini's with Toyo 888's. The ones in the pics are going to be used when it's wet and if I have to do a lot of miles on the road as the car is mainly for sprints.
  9. These are a spare set of rims I got with the car. Just got them back from being refurbished and new Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics fitted.
  10. You had a lucky escape there Liam. A friend of mine gave 93K for an V8 Vantage last year and he's just been offered 50K for it.
  11. Good decision Stevie. You know it makes sense
  12. I'm afraid something that lacking in detail is unlikely to get any kind of response I do agree however that these rich feckers who move near a track should not be able to bitch about it and try and have them closed down. It should be a part of the local area and if you move into it tough titty! Good spotting Chris. In my haste to post this up, I forgot to include this article: http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/4 ... oses_case/
  13. Is there any reason why they could'nt be independantly switched from say a hard feed through a switch into the car?
  14. That says a lot about where your thoughts are Mike
  15. Please sign it and pass it on. http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/saveCroft/
  16. They appeal to my sense of humour
  17. The receptionist always asks at the doctor's office why you are there, and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong -- and sometimes it is embarrassing. There's nothing worse than a doctor's receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled it: A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk. The receptionist said, "Yes, sir, what are you seeing the doctor for today?" He replied, "There's something wrong with my dick." The receptionist became irritated and said, "You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that." "Why not? You asked me what was wrong, and I told you." The receptionist replied, "Now you've caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear and then discussed the problem further with the doctor in private." "You shouldn't ask people questions in a room full of strangers if the answer could embarrass anyone," the man said. Then he walked out and waited several minutes before re-entering. The receptionist smiled smugly and said, "Yes?" "There's something wrong with my ear." The receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear, sir?" "I can't **** out of it." The waiting room erupted in laughter.
