Who cares what the mpg would be? Not everyone likes boosted cars & also something like this would be very unique, especially in the UK. Also the cost of it won't be a lot more than doing a supercharger properly & a hell of a lot less than a TT setup - combine that with the fact that the LS block will handle boost better than a stock VQ & I know which one I would prefer I'm still waiting to for someone to pull the trigger on a RB26/30 converision

+1 Cut the box out & then weld a new bit of pipe in is the easiest way to do it. I've had this done on both of my exhausts

No camber kit, Its running a bit of negative camber but not enough to worry about My lip scrapes everywhere Thats the damage to it afer 10months & only about 3/4K miles I have about 3 inches of ground clearance

Seriousley, you can get a stubby on ebay for £8 ffs. If you cant afford something like that then how the hell are you gonna afford it if something a bit more serious happens?
