  1. Tarmac up there sells em HFC's or sport cats are less restrictive than normal cats but not as free flowing as decats. So you will see gains but not quite as much as with decats. Its all a balance. Better HFCs will be more free flowing and closer to decats than cheaper ones due to better design and material meaning they can flow better.
  2. To be fair the Haggis with drambuie was very nice on the hoon when we went. I'd imagine you could eat it a lot
  3. I think thats what makes the BBC coverage so great is they look into all the new parts and how they work (in laymans terms) which makes people appreciate how advanced they really are. Not sure that will be the same in the coming season with the cutback of race coverage.
  4. Sorry to hear it went pop a bit prematurely matey, that sucks. At least using pro guys its on their head to sort it or at least prove it wasnt them. Did that sub not massively rattle the speaker grille? Its not the most rigid bit of plastic covering in the world, although I guess the metal plate that holds the sub cone is quite substantial so may stop most of the rattling before it reaches the grille.
  5. Now go sit in the naughty step
  6. MotoGP all day long Would watch GT1 if it got more coverage. As its not on normal telly it means the image quality is a bit pap when blown up on the TV. Do they stream it live in HD on the net or something similar to BBC freeview/freesat SD quality (which is still rather good)? The clips I've seen after races hasnt been very good quality which means I dont want to watch it on the TV by hooking up the laptop.
  7. A moderator cannot do this only admin and even then i think it is very difficult for them to find out. It really is up to the seller to confirm who was the first to get in with a pm and we would hope that the seller has complied with the rules above. Should also be noted it doesnt have to be first come first served. The seller is within their rights to chose who they want to sell to. We removed the "dib" rule as we had a lot of problems. In this case, it looks like a typo and planetsurfer2 beat ninjaz by almost 30 mins
  8. Agree Peter. I got a phone call from my mum from Currys saying they wanted £70 for a cable and was that right. I gave her the facts and she "passed them on" to the sales person. Given she's worked in Scouting for neigh on 30 years, she knows how to deal with these young chaps trying to give it the gab
  9. Where abouts are you in North Hants? When the weather gets better there will be a regular Jap meet at the retail park by the footie stadium which is always a good punt when we get a few cars along
  10. Wow, excellent shots there, definately a couple worthy of large canvas prints
  11. Perhaps said chap who sold them didnt have quite the right mounting kit or it was defective but they never realised? Looked like it was quite far out before you sorted it. Neither here nor there now as you've sorted it properly AFAIK theres no differences between JDM/UK or different MY when it comes to the brakes. No reason for Nissan to change things, it would only add costs at their end for no gain.
  12. Tis getting more common isnt it.
  13. The only time I would suggest spending a bit more is over long runs (10m+) as HDMI isnt meant to run for massive distances unamplified. Saying that as the others have said it will generally either work or not work as its a digital signal. Make me laugh the amount of supposid AV experts that swear you can get a better picture with better cables. The whole point of digital is the picture being sent is encoded in a way that it will be exactly the same at the other end The only difference good cables will make is if it gets there or not, which is why you need better cables on longer runs, but this is usually only required if you have a projector.
  14. Was the kit meant to be for a 350z then Chris? Very supprised that you'd have to mod them. Looks like the machine man has done a good job though, and kudos for your attention to detail. Bennett - make sure you change the nipples before they corrode into the thread, you wont want to be trying to remove a snapped nipple from the calliper
  15. What Chesterfield said. I have a 15m HDMI to my projector and I pushed the boat out at £35 as 15m is quite a long run for unrepeated/amplified HDMI, so if you need a metre the most you should spend is a fiver!
  16. Yeah, stop hijacking others for sale threads, just cos your admin Oh pipe down Mod Be nice or we won't approve your for sale thread

  18. Always a shame to see the end of a Zed Glad all passenger(s) were safe and not hurt.
  19. Think I will be in the Zed, so no wheels. Not sure anyone will want them anyway. Need to put up a "sale" thread for them for anyone that wants to make me an offer
  20. Have you taken that up with the trader or Scorpion themselves? I have found Scorpion to be very good when I dealt with their customer services about my bike exhaust. Should be able to solve it so long as its not too old
  21. Dont think I've ever heard that one, afterall no one in a Jag can be cool
  22. Will I get shot if I bring the Alfa with 4x 18" Rota GTRs in? I keep meaning to get rid of them
  23. I'm afraid for it to be ratified, you have to have the same drive home but swapping cars. Just to make sure the Z4 wins and not that you're just quicker that the better half
