  1. Sorry misread what you were saying. Yes it is the poor clutch too. I get the impression that quite a few bits of the Zed are built for the power/torque it has with no overhead. So if you dont drive it properly you can quickly wear things out
  2. you can eat a clutch through poor clutch control and riding the bite too much as well. Yes but poor clutch control with sod all torque and it wont really eat it, just overheat it - look at granny mobiles. To really eat it you need torque (thus power) and poor clutch control - and in the S2k the power doesnt come in until high revs due to the low torque so you'll find you can ride them more and do less damage

  4. Pfff, only double? Mine went up over 10x with BT from 3.5MB/s to 40MB/s. OK so not outright quicker, but better upgrade

  6. You'll find the S2k doesnt eat cluches as to eat a clutch you need some torque. S2k will have next to no low down torque where as the Zed does, so it transmits less power on takeoff than the Zed through the transmission

  10. A tank from empty has got to be near on (if not just over) £100 these days, and for that you should (steady driving on m-way) see about 350-400 miles. So driving sensibly you will make it on £120. But not sure you will drive sensibly! Just stick cruise control on when you're on the motorway and that should help your self control

  18. Quite often that is the case as they think you have some kind of loyalty to them, and have an easy sale. I woke my dealer up to that when we started to haggle on the price, but they played ball and I got a good deal and no doubt they made some profit too

  20. I'm not keeping bottles of pee in my car My car regularly used to get over 350 miles to a brimmed tank commuting to and from work. True there was quite a lot of driving at 50MPH in 6th on the way, but it's probably gonna be the same for the OP going up the M1 Personally I'd take a few days, go via Wales and the Lakes and get some good driving in

  22. I wonder why Well if you are careful you will do it on a tank of fuel, but I doubt it I was more thinking for a **** stop and a refuel for the driver

  24. I would say Google is about right given that you will want to stop at least once on the way.
