  1. I would hope to see similar gains to what Pingu saw with his Haltech and remap, see this post: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=17420&start=46 About 15-20BHP but more important is that new torque curve
  2. Isnt heat wrap heavy though? Sort of defeating the object of a thin walled light exhaust? Thats why I was laughing as I said it Off topic - Ad: Do you know if Tom is in tomorrow? Been mentally busy at work and need to get my car booked in, even if to just get the new tyres on and not the geometry. Cant do Wed but needs to be before Fri

    New mod

Gone Looks great mate, will look extra mean with black mesh Do you have Nismo skirts? Could be a good next step.
  4. Yes they will fit other parts not bought from them. They just charge you labour for it. You might not get as favourable labour rates as if you did buy if from them, but they are top chaps and still very good value for money and know their stuff
  5. That will be one hell of a car Adam. Bet it drives lovely too being N/A still
  6. Ben (MAD7BOY) did one and loved it. Coming from driving an Evo daily I think it was a bit of an eye opener for him, especially the Caterham handling course. Sounds like a bloody excellent day, you are very lucky!
  7. Got any pics of the ITB setup? Or is it all still under wraps? What extra increase in power do you expect from ITBs (if any)?
  8. K1 is definately a loud one. I would suggest hearing one first before buying it. Another option is a Buddy Club, they sound nice too, although AdrianK might kill you if you get one TGM Sport in Fleet will do you a good job of fitting with very competitive pricing
  9. think your right bud , gotta find someone heading up on sunday from the south, anyone ? Meaning I think you should try and get up on the Saturday night. +1 - its a long day of driving if you stay over in Chester the night before, let alone travelling up on the day! You'll never make it all in one day
  10. Looking forward to the pics bud You'll get to see the real things in a weeks time!
  11. Was good but the Supras stole our usual place so we were split up all over the shop in the car park
  12. Was backing you up bud So when are you going to heat wrap it to hell to reduce the vibrations?
  13. See post above, link has all the details. Not been updated in a while though, try bumping it and see what Adam has done since
  14. Here ya go : Near enough 304WHP viewtopic.php?f=25&t=8920 Not sure what hes done to it since though. EDIT: Last post is quoting 320WHP
  15. Not really a 350z though is it, its more like the 380RS Adam@Z1 has a lovely N/A Zed, there was a thread somewhere about him getting over 300WHP out of it
  16. Atlest you know they wont give it back to you until its perfect. Thats better than most places

    New toy....

Indeed. Until you get it under petrol station lights Thank god mine are mostly gone after a quick machine polish
  18. Fair question, I was wondering that too If it works like most other things that run off firmware, it doesnt matter if the flash fails, you can re-write it again, presumably from the backup they took of your ECU before starting to flash it. This is how it works for things like computers and phones, so I dont see this working any differently. If the ECU was bricked for some reason, I would be expecting RS Tuning to be picking up the bill for a new ECU, but I think it highly unlikely they would have stock of the different types of ECU in house. I dont think I have ever heard of an ECU being bricked in all my time of following remapping though, so cant see this being a problem.
  19. Looked very good when I saw it at Reading and Tom was very very impressed with the build quality which is saying something. I cant see it having any problems at being punished around a track. Its just built to be lightweight so minimal thickness which menas a lot of vibration. Doesnt mean it wont handle abuse though. If you ever see a real titanium race exhaust, its shocking how little metal you get for your money!

    New toy....

Primer shines just fine .... That was before the going over with a polisher. Looks even better now
  21. We havent had very good turn outs for the past few or we didnt get all the cars together, so no pics at the mo. There are a few dotted around the thread though
  22. You might want to drive on your own if you dont wanna get drowned out You have to keep up first
  23. The other option if its not repairable, is just to have the end bit filled and painted black, and have the other side painted black too, just on the ends. You would never really notice it
