  1. Another thumbs up for Dodo. Until you try it you cant compare it to anything else. I've tried Tech Wax, P21S and now onto Dodo SN2. Its in a completely different league. P21S comes close for gloss/wet look, but Dodo brings out the fleck more, lasts waaaaaay longer (main gripe with P21S is it only last a month tops). You will not be disapointed with Dodo Also, I wouldnt go much on pics on here, all the cars are clean so a camera will find it hard to tell the difference between the finishes. Its more down to how good the camera and their operator is and also if the car has been machine polished or has swirls (my car looks a lot better now its been properly polished, more of a difference than any different wax made!). Go check our Detailing World and check out the reviews on there
  2. The first ones you have posted are the ones you want, I've had both and the first are far brighter. Been using mine for over a year now and no problems
  3. I'm amazed they still have demo cars out there without the Nissan wheel on. The one we saw at Nissan HQ at the PH Sunday Service had a Nissan wheel
  4. Yes Please. Which junction of which road is this at? Sorry if thats a stupid question. :bye: Dont worry its very easy to find. Its M40 Jct 10, see my previous post of the link of the services to Silverstone. You cant miss the exit as its the one marked Silverstone You just come off there and follow signs for the services I should be there about 7:45am, will try and park somewhere near the back furthers from the entrance. May be a few of us not on the list Thanks Chris Had a feeling there might be. Its ok, we'll be neighbours on the day

    Decats...

I have always found that decats make all exhausts raspy. Keep your Nismo and ditch the decats would be my advice
  8. Think I should be finished now as I am in the finish circle, but it says I'm still going
  9. Also, with this you wouldnt want to do a finish like paint. Thats why so many people get matt colours as they are not trying to get the effect of paint. The main thing that would stop me is the amount of stone chips I have, they would have to do some prep to smooth them out so they dont show through, and I expect that would cost quite a bit
  10. Yes you can ditch the logo and add your own, or not have anything. I beleive they will. They ones I have done have one, but they do stay put. They took a new template from my OEM mats as they are different, and those templates had a hole on them, so assume these newer ones will. You can not use copyright logos, unless they are on their site (they have the copyright for a few). No Nismo All: please check out their site for colour options and logo placements. I can not guarentee colour matches but they should be able to get close with their default colours.
  11. For those wanting to meet at Cherwell and make our way in together, I suggest we meet to leave the services at 8:00am. We cant wait around for people to arrive, so if you arrive after 8am then just catch us up. As we will all have tickets anyway, its just a matter of finding the right pitch when you get there. Cherwell services prior meet + greet (leaving services at 8am) R800NER (Booner or Richard) - Kuro black Chris`I (Chris +1 Ben) - GM boomer816 (Barry +1) - GM Link to the services - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 44946&z=12 Sarah, do you want to meet us at the services too?
  12. Its quite widely known that changing away from the stock airbox looses you power. But the loss is usually so minimal on the road (given the airflow) it doesnt really matter as the sound is awesome Will be interested to see your results
  13. All, As some of you may have noticed, I picked up some custom car matts just before Wales as my OEM ones were knackered. After much deliberation, I decided to go with a company called AutoStyle ( http://www.autostyle.co.uk/ ) to get them made. They managed to get them made in less than a week and were more than helpful in getting them to me in time. Unfortuantely I didnt get the time to show them off at Wales I will have them with my at JTS if anyone wants a look Anyway, they mentioned to me that they'd be interested in a GB if we wanted one, so its open to you lot now. They can do a pretty big range of colours and finishes so best check out their site as to what they can do. They can do logos but not copyright ones (no Nismo etc), but they have the club logo so can do them. They have also taken a new template from my original matts so the new ones will be exactly like the OEM ones in shape not like my ones which were fitted from a customer car rather than the matts. The pile is pretty much the same as the OEM matts, maybe a bit thicker and plusher. Quality is very good. They retail for £55 + PnP if you get one with a heelpad like mine. Once I know how many are interested I will approach them and see what kind of deal we can get. I'm hoping to get them to do them for £50 with free PnP which will make a nice saving. Options: [*:2gtk88oh]Choice of mat pile colour (black, grey, red, blue, plus a few more) [*:2gtk88oh]Choice of binidhing colours (loads!) [*:2gtk88oh]Optional logo (no copyright logos but can do club or your own design, with 4 placement options) [*:2gtk88oh]Optional heel pads (drivers and/or passenger - both cloth or steel) Please visit their site for more info, including designing your own and seeing which colours they have - http://www.autostyle.co.uk/ Heres mine: Pop your names down below if you are interested
  14. Autotrader is probably your best bet as you are looking for the most expensive examples you can find. PH will be cheaper I would guess, so not the best. Not sure eBay has any examples? What about Nissan official used cars? They will be THE most expensive out there
  15. Well I've just been out and tested mine. With AC on, it sits steady at just above 750RPM. With AC off, its a lot lumpier and idles at about 600RPM, maybe a touch lower
  16. No nothing hiding in the wink, its just its widely known that turning off the aircon causes lower and lumpy idle. Try a search, you will see loads of places its mentioned. As for getting Nissan to raise it (if possible), they will try telling you there is nothing wrong with the low idle, so you will have to pay as its within specs

    ESP

At the end of the day, there arent that many variables in how it works, its not unreasonable to expect them to be able to find out whats wrong! Just keep pushing and hold on in there. If you can get buy in from NMGB then it should hopefully speed things up. Hope they get it sorted
  18. As in the PM, TGM Sport in Fleet will be able to do it, its a matter of fitting you in. Get their number off their website and ask for Tom. Tell him we sent you and he should be able to sort something out. Might not quite be as cheap as a pizza but better than other tyre fitters!
  19. Keep the air con on at all times The car can decide when it really needs running I beleive so it isnt really on all the time, but it does iron out the rough idle. That or I beleive Nissan might be able to change it with Consult. They will probably take your eyes out for it though
  20. I have heard simlar things, and I read somewhere when researching that during the flash, they only write part of the flash back to that memory. There is other memory that you can write to a lot more times that they put the actual map in. This gets around the limited writes problem. The system definately works and many people in the States have had it done. So while your mate has a valid point, they have got around it and its not a problem.
  21. Good progress matey, sure and steady, thats the way to do it. Make sure its done right first time, but you know that Excellent work again for getting the stuff out super fast Mitz
  22. PM sent, let me know how you get on Remember there is always Camskills too, they were cheaper for me
