  1. White one looks cracking James I think definately smooth the badge, but I'm 50/50 over leaving the lines or smoothing them
  2. The 370 above should set him off onto a daydream No need to dream any more But thats OT
  3. You must have missed the one I posted in the red ones under the title of "the master" Thought that was his, but couldnt tell for sure. Prefer it when it didnt have the Nismo spoiler though, flowed better. Some much better pics on his site too
  4. Just to let you know, the passenger airbag is just a section of the dash, so you shouldnt have to replace the whole thing
  5. No worries Martin Just an age thing mate Dont worry, we'll be confiscating his keys soon
  6. Its when the shift light comes on, the little light in the middle of the rev counter. Reminds you to change gear soon when you are "pushing on" And it is not the "rev limiter" as some people think, which is hard set by the ECU.
  7. Good things come to those who wait - thats what I tell myself
  8. Very nice, love the Z car evolution lineup
  9. numbrt plate is mounted and at the front, then its legal, if you drive with it retracted, then its illegal and parked? will need to research the legalities over here would be pretty interested, looks like you get your list full in no time too! Would depend where its parked I guess? My car is parked on my driveway at the moment with no plates on My guess would be private property would be ok with no plate, but parked on a public road you'd have to have it on display. Saying that the only point you'd fold it away is at shows and on track
  10. Nice try bronzee - not quite a Black Edition! Nothing more to announce, the press release was issued and its just the same as 40th Anni Edition for the rest of the world. Deliery in this part of the world is April for black ones and late July for Quartz Ah, go on, you know you'll have to spill the beans some time. I will in July

  12. Anyone got any pics of Leemik's car? (and he's technically a member on here!) I dont have any on photobucket and the ones on his site are too big to post. http://www.mike-lee.org:8000/car/volume ... /index.htm
  13. And North Wales I dont care about you, just that he has somewhere near me TBH, I have driven from Basingstoke to Leicester to get my clutch fitted and I would do it again without thinking. From Wales, I wouldnt mind doing that, unless it was deepest darkest Wales Mike made the trip from Wrexham to have work done
  14. Think you'll find Basingstoke being the base for the south when it opens Good work Mitz and Andy as normal What about us Jocks? Always being left out, get your ass up here guys R Ok, so Basingstoke down south, Leicester for the chaps in the middle, and Aberdeen for those in Scotland, sorted -get to it Mitz Although saying that you do have Alex up that way at least, not exactly a bad alternative if you need something sorted
  15. The idea of a poll is to judge other peoples opinions on something, so yes, if you dont have one, then just dont vote

  17. AFAIK, closed loop is when it uses the O2 sensors in the exhaust to judge the AFR and adjusts fueling to try and hit the target AFR. Open loop is when it doesnt use the sensors to adjust it, either because the cats arent up to temp (so wont get a proper reading from the O2 sensors) or at WOT, here I beleive it uses a lookup table to guess what fueling it should use. As I say, thats how I understand it, sure Abbey will correct me if I'm wrong!
  18. That was what I thought. Didnt know if any members or our pro detailers had used it. I'm more than happy with DD Supernatural, just wondered how this was different. DD SN sets like concrete so assume thats good for soft paint!
  19. Nope, I fitted my own turbo kit a few years ago and Thor were happy to tune it then. Obviously a change of personnel has resulted in a change of policy there, which is a shame. Would it not be because of the UpRev map thats already on it? I wouldnt imagine they would want to overlay on top of that as they dont know what it is really doing - even though we know it would be fine?
  20. Anyone seen or used this stuff? http://www.zymol.com/zymoljaponwax8oz.aspx Just wondered how this stuff stacks up against Dodo SN or what makes it better for Jap cars?
  21. Very nice James, lots of metal to aspire to there
  22. I would say thats a great price for someone. Dont go to the dealers with it though
  23. Excellent, time to go and forget my trade card again at the local Halfrauds Ratchet spanner set is down from £80 to £40
