  1. i've been reading up on the zed periodic servicing I've read through the service manual: http://metafaq.nissan.co.uk/resources/n ... 190605.pdf should be 12 months or mileage: year 1 @ 9,000 miles P1 year 2 @ 19,000 miles P2 year 3 @ 27,000 miles P1 year 4 @ 36,000 miles P3 the car i have seen, is nice all round, but doesn't really follow the above, but the log book is stamped with the following: registered sept 2004 service: 1st) 9k @ may 05 2nd) 21k @ oct 07 3rd) 30k@ march 08 only the 1st was at nissan and the other 2 at independent garage. if i got it, i would take it for a proper P3 at the begining of the year, to try and bring it back in line what nissan recommends. however, there is a lack of paper work, and the only service paper work was the 3rd one which states oil and filter change. the 2nd one titles in log book oil and filter change, like the 3rd. the first i think is stamped with P1 on it. will this effect future resale value by quite a bit, and is there anything important that might have been missed? the car sounds and runs good though; and is a deal against mine. i'm going to ring the numbers in the log book (as the seller has been really good and given me the details etc.), to see if i can get duplicate invoices or more info. what are your opinions? anything to worry about?
  2. took a 54 plate on a short drive. first outing in a zed. 1st) heavy clutch, but could get used to it, but every time i took off in 1st i juddered off as balance of revs (private sell, so going gentle) or lack of and heavy clutch coming back up, i wasn't use to it. but it seems like it will be hard to find the bitting point, due to the weight of the clutch, is this normal? 2nd) i wouldn't say i'm short, but average height at around 5ft8". i like to drive a little closer to the steering wheel, rather than the laid back approach with more control of the steering wheel (but not close close, so you can't turn the wheel), but i found that the gear shift lever, wasn't in a natural position (in front) and that my shoulder and arm were in a backward and unnatural position (than normal). and also the handbrake wasn't exactly in a normal position either. all things to get use to, but any other average height drivers find this too? the drive was great, so smooth though, very nice
  3. bump to this old thread. any additional choices/ options?

  11. one of my previous cars (celica), loads of people rated the eibach springs on there own. i went for just spring options then, and the ride, handling was improved loads and looks. great value in my opinion.
  12. i've got the original tomtom go 300, the big bulky version. i would probably go the the newer 500 or 900 range depending on budget, with the bigger screen and all new ones are alot thinner
