you either like carbon fibre or not i feel. but also depends on the finish and quality/ grade of some. but you're right, poor camera, lighting, flashes can spoil the effect of carbon fibre in pictures.

one thing to note, it's expensive to repair if things go wrong. i know there have been a few instances reading m3 forum etc. but it's not like a high % of them going wrong i don't think

have read that these are great once you get use to the style. think you can adjust the speed of changes etc. if they have it in the csl, it's got to be good.

hi, you did say you were looking too ;-) GIXXERUK, if your mate fancies an avus with red inside, PM me ;-) as for £14k should find you a nice one. have a look on pistonheads. as you know in the same boat, but i'm in no rush, and with the prices dropping quite abit on these, might wait until end of year or begnining of next year (unless i find a decent part ex option). would prefer blue, then gun metal, but would consider black or red (as not owned either before in colour wise). spec wise would be GT pack and rays and with below average miles.

sweet what does the K&N Typhoon include? what made you pick this over nismo, popcharger etc? have you pics of the scorpion, or even better video clips of the zorst and intake?

porsche will be in the future, but for now, i can imagine living with both z4 and 350z.

i would love one, but now the new version is out, it's got to be one of those in the future.

i'm looking at early zeds or z4's. but in the current state of economy, got to think about econmics a little. two different cars i know. zed, has great reviews all round. running costs, tax is higer, mpg quite good but not as good as the z4 3.0. z4, with run flats, it's even worse i hear. but the roof down option, and the 3.0 isn't too much of a slouch. i do like the looks of both. obviously if budget permited, it would be the M.

i know i'll probably get biased opinions, but anyone driven the z4 3.0 earlier model roadster? or any other z4 roadster, opinions.
