  1. Like the clever man said, service intervals. Car is due a service at 54k so would be nice to purchase a car fresh from a service. Not actually true. These cars need servicing every 9k or every 12 months so if someone has done more or less miles than 9k in a year at any point in the cars life it will throw it out. Eg if someone only did 4k in the first year, the next service would at 13k or 12 months, whichever came first. I don't think you are likely to see many cars that have been serviced at exactly 9k for each interval leading to a service being due and completed on exactly 54k..........
  2. I know that, but what has that got to do with Dan posting "service intervals " ???
  3. PS: I'm part of the Elitethree team (Liam) haha
  4. Some of the older members may remember me mentioning previously that I was on Gamesmaster when I was a kid. I've never been able to find a copy of the episodes but my aunty has found them on YouTube! For anyone interested in a laugh and seeing a 14 year old me, here it is; http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=61G9XOUABBA&feature=plpp #cringe
  5. As to highlight the Jessop's problem I was in there recently, the day before they shut up shop actually. I am/was in the market for a decent DSLR camera. We went to the local Jessops in Touchwood, Solihull and spent about 40 mins chewing the fat with a guy there who really really knew his stuff. We'd looked at camera's online but after you've read one spec list you go blind to it all if your not a camera buff. After the guy spent 40 mins with us we were really happy that we got off our arses and went and spoke to a Human Being who was able to decipher all the jargon and explain how they affect the real world workings of the camera. He asked how and when we would be using the camera and we finally decided to buy a Canon 600D which was for sale at £499 in Jessops. It was more than I was wanting/expecting to pay so we said we go away and think about it. The next day they went bump. Today I purchased it online for £394 from here; http://www.procamerashop.co.uk/canon-eos-600d-digital-slr-ef-s-18-55mm-f-3-5-5-6-is-ii-kit.html It's a shame as shop fronts are still needed in my opinion but when you look at the difference in cost between buying from the store and buying online you can see why this is happening to a lot of companies.
  6. Bargain for someone if they're quick!!
  7. Upon resale I'm pretty sure that having the GT pack will help you sell the car more rather than 12k less miles.....
  8. The rendered pics look better than the actual pics. It looks a a butchered 599 GTO to me....
  9. this^ It wasn't noticeable when the wheels were black.......
  10. How much does a job like this cost?
  11. It was all going so well until the white wheels!!
  12. Yea it is, but you will spend that on mods anyway. So might as well save... Exactly. How much would it cost for a set a Brembo callipers, pads and disks? How much for a set of new wheels and tyres? How much to replace the aftermarket exhaust if its crap? How much for a new set of seats or to get them recovered? How much for a new head unit? How much to fit a Bluetooth kit? A lot more than £1,100 I'd say......
  13. The OP asked for views on the car, and he's got it. It's poverty spec. Don't buy a £5k zed and then spend money on it, thats just a false economy. Why buy that piece of crap when only another £1,100 gets you a UK, MY06 car with RAYS and GT pack; http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350z-facelift-top-of-the-range-model/947465
  14. Only the truth gets people backs up  If you made a list of what you wanted from a zed, none of the things you'd want are on this car, as it's beyond poverty spec.......it's literally the bottom rung of the 350z ladder. And what difference does it make to the way it drives? Let's say your job doesn't pay too well and you can only afford the bottom end. Your still getting the handling, looks and vq35. The spongey suspension of the early JDM's?? And looks?? This car LOOKS awful, thats my point.
  15. Of course you buy the best for your money, thats why it's adviseable to not buy this car.The only half decent point about it is that it's blue, thats it. Everything else is awful, from the awful re-badging of the rear to the two tonne standard wheels to the cloth seats and the chav front grill. If I bought this car and took it to a meet, I'd be embarrassed looking at everyone else's cars.
  16. +1. A 350z id a 350z. Colour doesn't bother me too much. Id have liked a red one but who cares. A 350z isn't just a 350z. Thats why there are different specs available............
  17. Are they four rears?? The ad says that all four tyres are 245/45/18........................should be two 225/45's and two 245/45's
  18. Only the truth gets people backs up  If you made a list of what you wanted from a zed, none of the things you'd want are on this car, as it's beyond poverty spec.......it's literally the bottom rung of the 350z ladder.
  19. Brembo's are standard on all UK cars irrespective of whether it has the GT pack or not. The car in the OP's link is virtually the lowest spec it could be whilst still calling it a 350z! It could only be worse if it was Silver and Auto........
