  1. The car in the link is crash damaged, hence why it hasn't sold
  2. 80l is from full to empty. If the trip computer was saying 30m still left then you could probably have done about another 100 miles before empty. And then you could have got your full 80l in

    Wheels

They are GT4 rims, not many sets around.....
  4. You could go for a low mileage Roadster if you're looking for cheaper tax. From a quick autotrader search using a random Norwich postcode. 31 mpg??? He's having a laugh...
  5. why buy the same again? great opportunity for you to get into the latest car with the added 30 bhp etc
  6. There have been a few threads recently about that car.......
  7. You'll get a MY07 for £13k
  8. That's what I'm going to do. I didn't want to be rude to the guys and to be fair they worked out a great finance plan which actually beat my bank. I did get a fair amount of hostility from the guys there though until they realised how much money I had to put down and what I do for a living... Typical scene, 23 year old guy walks in to a dealership with tatty jeans and a t-shirt. One of those situations where you wish you could get a wad of £50's out and throw it on the table to see their faces. I never like to put people down but I didn't feel comfortable at all, except one guy seemed pretty decent. I paid that for mine a year ago when it only had 2.5K on it, basically it's like a new car. You need to walk away Peter, something else will always come along. Chances are you will see that one up for 15.5K in a months time when they can't shift it. That's the sort of mileage that should see a couple of new tyres on the rear, otherwise you will shortly be adding another £400 to the price. What was wrong with the other one you went to see for around 15K that you mentioned in your first post without the camera/stereo? Best of luck. The first car I went to see (I haven't posted that link on here though) had 4 bald tyres, no water in the screenwash tank, no water in the radiator tank and some scratches and dinged alloys. It just put me right off. I'm going to see one more tomorrow which is a 2007 "twilight blue" or "midnight blue" depending on where you read it. 5500 miles for £16000. Shame I don't have a 360 Modena to part exchange though lol! Opinions? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2267405.htm defo an import and about £4k overpriced............
  9. Good job, with spelling like that from a teacher
  10. Never had Sky, as years ago I though my mate paying £40 a month was way too bad, but didn't realise you could go that high! Do you get a personally signed Christmas card from Mr. Murdoch? My Sky bill is higher than that each month, about £160 on average. We have all of the channels and pay extra for the kids channels, multiroom, HD, ESPN and pay for box office movies etc. We also have our telephone calls through sky so thats an extra £11.50 for line rental plus calls. Before we has kids me and the Mrs used to go to Anfield and Villa park all the time, which would be about £100 a time, plus we used to go the cinema twice a week which would be about £25 a pop, so now we don't can't do all that, we stay in, save all that money and watch it all at home via Sky
  11. Wow, I'd love to do something like this
  12. I've got something ordered, just waiting for the front tyres to come back into stock. I thought long and hard, looked at hundreds of wheels, changed my mind umpteen times before deciding on the right ones for me. All will be revealed soon... Pete
  13. spurs bid £25m for Carroll too..... Indeed which is a more reasonable fee but still overpriced imo How many Strikers have looked good for a few months in a certain team and then faded away? Also won't Pool have to buy Nolan too, wasn't it a condition of his bail that he lives with Nolan.... At least having a criminal he can bond with the Liverpool fans easier The negotiations for Torres were purely dicated by the price Newcastle wanted for Carroll. Liverpool sold Babel for £6m and bought Suarez for £23m. So Liverpool told Chelsea that they had to pay at least £15m above what Newcastle wanted for Carroll. Newcastle pushed the price up to £35 meaning Chelsea had to stump up £50m From a Liverpool point of view, We swapped Babel (erratic at best) and Torres (patchy form and not back to the player was just yet) for two younger, hungry players with desire to play for the club, and with a net spend of next to zero
  14. spurs bid £25m for Carroll too.....
  15. Surely you can't be saying that Torres isn't a proper player?
