Don't go for that one if you have a 2G touch - it definitely doesn't work with it (see the feedback). -

I've seen a few of these advertised, but have hesitated to go for one because they do not specify that they work with the iPod touch 2G. All it says is that it works with all iPods with dock connectors, but the American adverts then list a range of iPods , excluding the 2Gtouch. -

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions, guys. The data I am concerned about (if I eventually sell or dispose of the computer) is mainly my work and financial details (online banking etc.). It sounds as if a re-format and re-load of Windows would prevent any casual user accessing the files. Cheers.

I'm now thinking of getting rid of my old PC. Any suggestions as to what is the safest (i.e. most secure) way of getting rid of all of my files from the hard drive?
