  1. which Big Phil sent at the end of May...... Since trying to find a time and weather slot (having no garage) but today the deed is done and they on after giving the car a wash and wax. What do you think guys? sneak pic before they replaced the Rays Bridgestones being replaced by Falken 452's - bit more tread to keep me on the road fronts rears and on the car with the wheels Nismo's getting an admiring look (nice horse too but then this is part of Epsom racecourse stables Must admit to not seeing Nismo's on a black ZED so I hope they find favour out there
  2. The A84 option via Callander favourite then for our run up
  3. Another great win for Lewis - as Martin Brundle remarked, he has something very special when it comes to braking and thankfully the last couple or races have seen him re-focus on the driving as it was apparent up to then he was getting more distracted from what he does best. Combined with the balls to pass when others hang back, and as Sinbad says with the downshifts in these traction control-free times (one of the beeter changes), is marking Lewis out as a real talent . Also nice to see Ron admit for once the team cocked up (well that is what is radio message to Lewis was really saying!) Yeah, and good to see some exciting F1 racing again.
  4. so shall we aim for 4 hours and that would be really nice

  9. I'm not sure whether the car is getting more wet from what comes out the sky or from my hose and buckets trying to keep it clean
  10. No, you're OK Nixy the £1.50p reserve hasn't been met
  11. I shall have some fun
  12. The RE050's are certainly better than the RE040's, in my experince, but the informed opinion out there is that there are many better tyres - do a search on the Forum index - lots of threads about which is considered best and what might suit your budget
  13. Some changes will take place to the proposed new rates for next year - Government is playing around to ensure the timing of the changes benefit their position. Some small hope for us then
  14. Any good tips out there? Having read a while back of the hassle using the cream conditioners that fill the thousands of holes, I was hoping to find something more suitable.
  15. I would suggest you do as powdermonkey has indicated and get a decent auto electrian to check things out. If your battery is draining as you have described you might find a new one does exactly the same and you might then have wasted money unnecessarily. At the very least see if you can borrow another battery (of the right spec) and see if the same happens to that.
  16. As its French and done more than 10k miles how much do you want to pay me to take it off your hands
  17. Need some French lessons to read the pics then

  20. After that Hungarian waitress, is he
  21. Given what Adam has said and the host of electrical add-ons you have the poor battery has had a hard time and is perhaps calling it a day?? Way back (before ECU's and the like came along) I remember a frayed earthing strap (not broken) from the engine to the chassis being the culprit of cutting out. So Adam's other suggestion may also be worth thoroughly checking
  22. That you're old! Just kidding. I love a bit of bread and butter pudding! He said Bread Pudding! Not that namby-pamby, lightweight, Bread and Butter Pudding. Bread Pudding is the *real* thing. You can use it as a doorstop until hunger takes over...... Perhaps the Scots can't stomach the real thing What is hardcore bread pudding then? I have never had it. I had buttries for breakfast though so I bet I could handle it! Where's the expert cake man Stanski when you need him
