  1. Very good Think it was Battery lane ....... or was it 3-Pin Close? Had a job here a little while back (well, just a little after 1921, looking at the photo title I added..... ) Check out the racy motors - can anyone name them "Electric Avenue was built in 1888, the first shopping street to be lit by electricity, with a protective iron and glass canopy for shoppers. The street soon became a focal point of Brixton's thriving shopping centre. Electric Avenue is now part of Brixton's street market."
  2. me too dude .............. i hope no one buys it........ I'll see if I can find that clip showing your car going rather sideways on the way to Bala in 2006 - you know 'that' junction where Sarnie got his ear bent by his misses . That might help to put buyers off. Or, just use the bike more and the car less until you get well-deserved rise

Big Phil at ESR (one of the traders on here) will help - just got some coming my way from him, amongst some some items
  4. This one on Zedrush's shortlist
  5. sssssssh - Stanski's being stalked
  6. Using Motul 300 fully synthetic, and on idle when fully warm mine is the same as Chesterfields. In 6th gear on motorways at 70mph the needle is just on the +side of 60 (vertical reading on the guage). A couple of months prior to my first P1 service I had noticed that the pressure had dropped by about 5 on the lower reading and up to 10 on the upper reading and found the engine needed 1/2 litre of oil. I don't know what oil Nissan put in the car at the factory, but various threads on this forum led me to conclude that a decent synthetic oil was preferable which Opie oils effeciently supplied and I got the Nissan dealer to use rather than their whathaveyou.
  7. Only at weekends! But thats another story........ Just paid £400 for roadtax tonight Not only will I have to continue to sell my body on Bury's street corners will have to do the same in Scotland when I get there for the fuel to get back home My prices have now gone up with inflation to £7.52 each. Put me down for a Danish Just consulting the Karma Sutra about that one, might be up for that too .......

  11. The roof and tints look really together having seen your car in Wales and better than the pics show. I see you have the Nismo's on now - what bolts have you used - did you have to change the standard ones to fit the Nismo's - can't think why I'm asking that question Oh, and just in case you need another pic under your bonnet............ Enjoy

Big Stan The likeness is uncanny, even down to the polo shirt
  18. Same for me, what are the products used to get the shine you got in the photos on the black car ?? My azure is a great colour but you can see the swirls when you look hard. Either get it professionaly detailed or by a rotary polisher, but beware if you buy your own you could end up paying more than getting it done by a pro.If you make a mistake and polish too long in one spot its a respray for that panel. Nissan paint is very thin,i would recommend get it done by a pro and ask his advice one how to wah and dry in future. Well said! - having seen endless comments about the Nissan paint quality (LACK OF) is the reason I chose a professional to do the work and hopefully I can keep it looking good with careful washing and a regular wax top-up

  20. You southerners dont get about much I drive that far fer pint t milk Takes us 5 times as 'ucking long down here to get anywhere with the traffic/lights/speed humps and ar$eholes for drivers we have to contend with - all you have worry about is a few ewes to dodge on your roads You sure you talking milk - looks like you been out for a different kind of brew with your typing
  21. Particularly if the offside cannister is longer than the nearside canister...... that would fit just fine now, eh Digsy
  22. Nixy in Lycra Oh, forgot she has ben around a while now
  23. 177.1 miles at a constant 70 in a ZED Even when I have the cruise on on motorways I do like to see if the button will accelerate the car as quick as something that might have overtaken me - that is one thing I have noticed with the 06/296 engine it does respond more keenly over the rev range to the 'button' compared to my previous 04/276 car which I can recall was better in terms of using the overall torque charcateristics of that engine and seemed to work better in decelerating the car. But I guess these fly-by-wire systems will vary slightly in each car And oh yes, for those who think cruise control is a waste - they are very handy with the increasing number of 'specs' around - made sections of the M25 and M42 on the trip up to Wales more bearable and hopefully points free

Thanks for that Daaave - on the list for September Hey Stanksi - fancy a little run through these Welsh roads in September - but this time no cakes in your boot to slow you down Stan tells me it was the lack of brakes to slow him down that worried him nah ..... he forgot what the pedal on the far right was really for
  25. Same for me, what are the products used to get the shine you got in the photos on the black car ?? My azure is a great colour but you can see the swirls when you look hard. Most the answers to your query are found amongst the photos on the first page of this thread and the final coat was Swissvax Best of Show wax, but you may wish to PM Bryd for further advice?
