  1. If it's a 370 you can still be there!
  2. Dammit, was going to PM Jacko about those too!
  3. I know!! Will get it sorted. Silly thing is, for years I have had chargers on my cars for the audio competitions and had the big deep cycle batteries etc, and not once. Now, I seem to have forgotten the difference between +ve and -ve!!
  4. And if you do need pumps contact R35LEE.......
  5. Cheers guys - will try a last ditch boost / light turning on and see if it wakes. Otherwise it's another £100....
  6. Do you mean mental age or physical age??
  7. Been on the trickle charger for a week now and it's still pretty much dead (nowhere near cranking capacity!). Will a big beast of a charger be able to kick it back into life? Am such a donut!

    TVR Tamora

Fair point, but I think that the odds of getting a Friday afternoon car are greater with a TVR than a Nissan! Still go for it. one of my dads colleagues had a tvr, it spent more time in the garage than on the road, had to keep going back in to be "fine tuned" Too many of these stories about; My next door neighbours uncle knew some one who sat in a TVR once and said it was always breaking down etc etc. People said that to me about the Gallardo saying the clutch was shite.........do your research, view lots of cars, buy on condition, get it inspected by a specialist and enjoy it! Valid point. BUT, as much as I love them, TVR's have the reputation for a reason. A good friend of mine had a T350C Red Rose that did actually spend more time in the garage than working for the year he had it. And it took £6k from his wallet. The Step Father in law has an immaculate Griffith 500. Sprint magazine cover car, cherished, used rarely, garaged - has been recovered several times. And I know of many others that have been in the same position. As long as you go into the situation expecting it, you'll love it.

  13. AFAIK all UK cars. All done by a button on the drivers door switch panel. No reverse tilt on UK car. Some JDM owners have found their cars to have it.
  14. Yep, standard. What else do you want to know about folding mirrors??
  15. Try a halfway house and ask them for a commited date of delivery in the next 2 working days, especially since you've been so nice and patient.......

  17. It actually looks a lot more sorted in the flesh, and miles better than the 350 roadster IMO. I'd almost consider one over a coupe.....

    Imagine the back pressure issues
  19. The dual wall tip on the Tanabe is pretty thin though?
  20. When a truck hit the back of the Elise they did the mechanical assessment and sorted the wheel alignment etc so can vouch for that. Never had anything more than that done. They are very professional, friendly people that actually care about the cars. You should see the restoration and storage cars they have up there.....!
