Fair point, but I think that the odds of getting a Friday afternoon car are greater with a TVR than a Nissan!
Still go for it.
one of my dads colleagues had a tvr, it spent more time in the garage than on the road, had to keep going back in to be "fine tuned"
Too many of these stories about; My next door neighbours uncle knew some one who sat in a TVR once and said it was always breaking down etc etc. People said that to me about the Gallardo saying the clutch was shite.........do your research, view lots of cars, buy on condition, get it inspected by a specialist and enjoy it!
Valid point. BUT, as much as I love them, TVR's have the reputation for a reason. A good friend of mine had a T350C Red Rose that did actually spend more time in the garage than working for the year he had it. And it took £6k from his wallet. The Step Father in law has an immaculate Griffith 500. Sprint magazine cover car, cherished, used rarely, garaged - has been recovered several times. And I know of many others that have been in the same position. As long as you go into the situation expecting it, you'll love it.
