  1. Is it the actual drive or the steepness of the dipped kerb up to the drive? If it's the latter, it's a whole load cheaper and easier to have that changed?

    Split Rim Refurb

    www.wheelrefurbishing.com - very, very good.
  3. Ah yes, the guy directly responsible for NMGB stepping in twice when his actions were deemed inappropriate when dealing with my car. Lying, delaying work and then refusing to talk to people all included in his repertoire of fantastic customer support. Be warned. See here for the final step in the saga. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... nty+slough
  4. Have you seen the pics in this thread? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= Nope, am trying hard to resist going to the dealers. Which is silly since they have a new set of wheels for me.......
  5. You have no idea how true that is!!!
  6. Do you mean you don't like the Night Blue???

    Cosworth Plenum

Excellent, looking forward to hearing your findings!
  9. It depends who makes the stuff they then decide to stick their badge on. Clarion kit is actually pretty good equipment after market (head unit wise). Unfortunately the combo in the Zed isn't great. It's not awful sound wise, but awful reliability wise.....
  10. 'No highs, no lows - it must be BOSE'. If you want to bin it, the only real way to improve it is out with the headunit, speakers and amp and replace it all with after market gear.
  11. But Vettel's 10 place penalty has been changed to just a reprimand. So according to the FIA, it was no-ones fault??
  12. Yep ST is more or less GT equivalent - a combination of version S (brembo's etc) and T (leather Bose etc). go on Sarnie - you know you want to.......... Without heated mirrors though..... Do it Sarnie, lovely looking car.
  13. Congrats, and get those pictures up.
  14. Nothing was said about it being a replacement for shampoo I only said I like to be able to see each panel, and my only other comments were about pressure washers and that it's a good start to strip everything off the paintwork. Snowfoam itself won't remove stuck on dirt, mitt work and rinsing will so you have used snowfoam ? and as i said you dont use snowfoam on its own, you use it with shampoo, this allows the shampoo to dwell on the dirt helping it dissolve so it can be washed off, its very simple the only thing it gets off the paintwork is dirt, you make it sound like paint stripper its used as pre wash really - snowfoam - mitt 2 bucket wash Yup. At what point did I say you didn't use it that way? My point was ONLY, that I like to see the panels. And at no point have I said anything other than it is a good starting point for stripping everything off with a pressure washer. No point said it would strip paint or wax itself. Ne'er mind. Will avoid anything that may be another opinion.

  16. I fear Hamilton may have inadvertantly turned all of the other driver's lunches to sour grapes. Grow up lads, you got it wrong.
  17. As with any leather, if it doesn't get treated often it dries out quickly especially with modern climate control systems constantly workng and keeping the cabin moisture free. All manufacturers have this issue, it's not just Nissan. Defence over, I put a claim in on mine for wear on the handbrake and passenger seat. It got the the MD of Nissan GB who still refused it. I got the wheel issue agreed, but alas no leather. One or two on here did get replacement covers / seats. You may be lucky.
  18. Not my cup of tea tbh. Try getting an image mocked up with them on a Zed to give you a getter idea.
  19. I don't use these as it like to check each panel as I go with a closer look. Also I have a deep grained dislike of pressure washers as they themselves can cause a lot of damage to paint work and protective coatings. If used propoerly they can be good, but that's at no more pressure than you can generate with a decent hose attachment IMO. This is once there is a decent build up of wax BTW. If you want to strip everything off the surface then this can be a good start. My advice would be to proceed with caution with any pressure washer if that's the route you go down.
  20. Sorry to hear it. Badges do seem to be expensive, I paid £35 each for the 'R' badges on my last car, and had to provide chassis number of two real 'R's' before Volvo would send them..... De badging could be the way to go
  21. Stevie, Micheldever tyres aren't too far, and can fit on the day. Well recommended by many car enthusiasts and the prices are very good. You will need to get there early as they get busy every day. Plus it's a nice little trip down the M3 too....... I got mine done here and can recommend them first hand.
  22. XC90 D5???? Try a few of the Volvo's seriously. Kev's comment aside, my Dad has made a good living selling the sub-standard things!
  23. Hang around mate, for sigs and general banter!
