My experience of Autotrader has never been great (selling cars up to about £30k). Expensive and canvassers bugging the hell out of me. You may be OK given the value of it. I would say word of mouth is the best bet, or even eBay. Plenty of people browsing and it generates more talking if nothing else. Everyone I know has had the most success this way.

Champ cars also have a lot of street races to it's a slightly different style. Mt brother's best mate races out there and finds it tough. He is one amazing driver but you need a bit of the looney toon about you to stand out IMO.

Not a clue. Sounds to me like using different grades of compound to bring the lip up to a shine and leaving it just as shiny metal.

Never left it in gear, just get the HB checked regularly. Had too many incidents with people moving cars to leave it in gear. If on a hill, I leave it in reverse. Hope you can get it fixed up. Scratches polish out or are you needing paint work?

Sorry! Guys, it might be worth checking what size the bolts are that hold your strut brace on. Phil and I stumbled across the fact they clearly used different ones at certain times. If you're wanting shiny bolts to put it on with, it will save time. Thanks for your persistence Phil.

Can recommend the strut brace, I have one waiting to go on, great quality item....... Sorry to pester, any joy on the bolts Phil..???! Can firmly recommend the struts as well, and a bargain for the money. How much for the carbon slam panel / engine cover?

No worries, hope they give you what you want. As for which finish, in theory, I would guess diamond cut then lacquered would give the easiest finish to look after, and it's only cleaning the lacquer. However, if anything goes wrong with the lacquer (corrosion etc) then that would look pretty bad pretty easily. Polished is a hard one to keep clean, maybe longer lasting. As for powder coating, check the link about the risks with loosening wheel bolts. Coloured lacquer could be , or if wrong be Decision time! What do they recommend?

+1 The Alpine units also bypass the Apple software for playing the iTunes which provides better quality. A decent installer shouldbe able to recommend, provide and install all of the above that Ian mentions.

While carrying out some detailed work on my drivers door and wing mirror yesterday, I found that the underside in my drivers mirror has a little black sticker with two characters on it - H5. Now this I find strange - is it on all of them???

OK, if it's not the drive itself, but the path bit, the you can get that changed quite easily. My parents did it when they had the curb dropped at their's. They made sure the whole width of the path was used to take the gradient. Pics may help! Sometimes taking a different angle in does help too as Gixxer said.

Guarantee against what? Using alloy wheel cleaners that corrode the wheel, no. As for poor quality workmanship, I would imagine they do. Thing with wheels is there will ALWAYS be some kind of finger pointed whether it be wheel cleaner, salt, corrosion etc. Give them a call, they really are good. First choice for Lotus / TVR / Jag etc. Some main dealers send their wheels to them new knowing they'll come back better As your pics prove mate, there is no such thing as non corrosive wheel cleaner. Water all the way.

Without wanting to hijack John's thread, haven't Ferrari now got issues in that they received McLaren details now.....
