    Cosworth Plenum

+4 Based on the price, it would be approx. £28 per bhp, which is a bargain..... Any dyno proven results guys? We haven't tested one yet so I can't offer you any of our data but Cosworth claim 25hp Given the reputation you guys seem to be building up, if you can get your hands on one and prove it then I think you'll get plenty of orders on these..... And a price on the engine cover would be good since I'm still missing mine......

The easiest thing to do would be to go to the library and get a basic internal combustion engine mechanic type book (won't be huge) and read it to understand what all the bits do. Then when you see exhaust / plenum / cats referred to it should make a bit more sense.

  11. Welcome! Whereabouts in sunny Berkshire are you? We're trying to sort a meet in Wokingham soon if you want to come along and get to know more about the car.
  12. Parked in Woking at offices of a certain workplace... GT4 alloys on it too.
  13. Welcome - I think!! Thoughts on the TT - shut your eyes, take away the glorious noise your Zed makes, replace it with more road noise, and imagine driving a VW Golf...... Got it? There you are!
  14. Do that in mine and you know about it. I wouldn't call it jerky - more like hitting a wall! +1
  15. Good decision, get one. At the end of the day ANY new car loses 17.5% (VAT) the second you pick it up and drive it off the forecourt. You're paying for the fact you chose it all and it is new. No different to anything else out there, they just cost a bit more than computer bits etc..... (Unless your new car is a hugely desirable Aston or something of course )
  16. Welcome back! Did you take your 'Creche Supervisor' badge with you?
  17. If we go for the Plough, what time and what day do we want to do this?
  18. Is it for you? It would be yes. Make much difference?? Just curious, as when i had my black zed I wanted to fit the nismo kit and wheels but couldn't be arsed with the buying, shipping, spraying and fitting bollocks. So I sold up and bought the UY with the kit on instead and ended up with a nearly brand new car, with the nismo kit for the same price I was going to spend on the kit and wheels indiviually. My train of thought was that the money spent on the kit would be lost on a 2003 zed, just wondered if your train of thought was the same........... Yes, you're right bud. I don't want to spend that when I know it's something that exists out there already. Even age wise, if it means getting one a similar age it makes no difference to me. Condition and the spec are king. Anybody???
  19. Could they make it look anymore evil?!
  20. Nice result - just make sure it's no-one scamming you.....!! I agree with Sarnie on the locations
  21. Make that strap them to the BACK of a Lotus. Wouldn't take too long before clothing was worn through and it would be bare skin and bone on the ground. My money is no more shirt by the follow through.....
