He said it was only alittle quicker than the Zed but didnt even compare to the Gallardo. Engine didnt sound as good, handling wasnt anywhere near the G. He also said after driving it for the first few times he didn't know if it was front, rear of four wheel drive!!

As usual Steve, it may be the minority spoiling it for the masses, but there is a trend with BMW drivers! Whereas you may have chosen the car for that reason, many will choose a 318 because of the badge. £ for £ there are miles better cars out there.... As for the M badge, a bodykit isn't the comparison. Removing the badge from the back of the car, and replacing it with an M is people pretending they have a car that they don't. The reason BMW now stick them on every car is so the egotistical ones can ALWAYS say they have 'Insert BMW model ' 'with M pack'. People wouldn't, for example' say I have a 350Z 'GT'. The 4 exhausts is a winner, for sure. And a dry mechanical sound wailing from the exhaust!! For real respect, the ones with Alpina on the back and 4 exhausts win!!

Good call The anti roll bars may be cheaper (I don't know) but as Phil said these are for track set-ups really. The reason they are expensive, is the R&D needed wasn't cheap to get the product to do the job better than something that isn't doing it too badly already..... Do a search on here for Car Limits. Very good reputation.

Have you asked them why they haven't done that? I know sometimes you can be on the bad end of service, but the car when working is great, honest! It looks like a freak occurrence, and in the scheme of things 11 days isn't the worst case. Don't go wasting a load of your own money because of a fan belt that you don't even know the true cause of the damage of. And just because the RAC said it was the water pump, it doesn't mean it definitely is. You've kind of proven the point yourself there.... Depending what the maker of the video wants to come out on top, they will make it look that way. Plus, you never know how good the driver is, what has been done to the cars or anything. Fact remains it goes round that TG track at the same pace as an M3. They have (apparently) 50+bhp on the Zed, so if anything, it makes the Zed a very good handling car. The RX8 might be an exceptional handling car. If you're getting beaten round the corners, what are you being beaten in? TBH, racing on the road isn't the best idea anyway, but going to Car Limits or similar will help you understand the limit of the car and your ability in controlling it. Could be worth the investment before changing suspension?

To be fair bud, if you want positive feedback the basis of the comment needs to be understood. On what planet an S2000 outhandles a Zed in standard guise I'd like to know!? And a Cayman S costs twice as much, so you'd expect it to handle somewhat better.... As the current story is that the tower weren't aware of a problem I'd say it wasn't a fuel shortage. They'd of radioed it in well before reaching the airport. Here’s a thought that crossed my mind. These planes are all fly-by-wire right? So total loss of power on approach to airport would leave them with no ability to turn or alter the angle of the flaps. Am I wrong or would they still have partial control over the tail or something? Either way they would drop like a brick without the ability to maintain landing speed. They must have power reserves for hydraulics and electrics no?

The water can bead just after a polish, it doesn't need protection, so it doesn't guarantee it bud. If you have added that, then you should be OK. For what it's worth, I think the Nissan paint does need a lot of effort to get it to 'give' a real good shine back......
