Hi all, After much discussion with various people, here is the current state. Costs are £30 for a show car for the weekend, £35 for passenger / general entry for the weekend. Your car does not need to be modified and all members are more than welcome. There is also the opportunity to use the Donington Park race circuit during the day if you wish to. www.istsuk.com East Shore Racing (BigPhil - 07714457051 or 0191 523 5555) are supporting the event, and have kindly put up £200 of goodies as prizes over the weekend. A Show n Shine will be held on the Sunday of the event on the stand, and other little competitions for the prizes. Many thanks Phil and all at ESR. An extra incentive for attending, there is a free weekend ticket up for grabs. All those that have their name confirmed on the list by the end of Sunday 16th March will have their names entered into a hat and drawn at random for the ticket. I will put up details for who to pay and how after this has been done. We hope as many of you can make it as possible, The 350Z-UK team.

You are best off getting a decent aftermarket one to be honest. Quite a few on here have done it - saves time and £££.

I agree with what has been said so far. One thing to do while it is all fresh now though, is speak keep notes as to what has happened, who has made the decision, how it has affected the role etc etc and make sure that you are speaking to HR about it. Once it is recorded, it makes it a whole load more difficult for anything under hand to happen and be got away with. Document everything. I speak with no legal training, but having offered advice as a manager when I was at a previous place and someone thought they had a claim. Sorry to hear the story, a shame the costs of giving people fair redundancy hasn't been fully appreciated by the new / old owners.....

Car is in a very stripped back state. I cleansed, clayed and first level polished at the weekend and is in the garage waiting for next polish and sealant. Then wax. And it goes off for some toys on Saturday so not going to make it!

no I might if the reviews were good. I can't exactly get hung up on the badge - I do drive a Datsun after all. Zed cars have considerably more heritage than a Matiz has ever been able to create on the sports car front. Not to mention a 2.7l V6 car knocking out 163bhp. No idea how they do it....... I wouldn't give a monkey's about heritage (how quickly we forget the not so good Z-cars - 280ZX anyone?) if the car gets sh1t hot reviews. That's all I'm saying. Completely agree - that's the only reason I'm in a Datsun now!

Welcome to the site! 1. Think it is best to go aftermarket. The BOSE can be bettered on sound and overall quality, and the Jap ones can be tough to sort out once fubar. 2. Shouldn't be losing the back end to easily. There is some slip before it kicks in, and if you have Bridgestone RE040 tyres on, change em. 3. There's a few, but watch out for poor quality replicas. Big Phil on here is known for great service and helping out. 4. No idea, but I'd like to know where the other key is.
