  3. Buy yourself a speaker kit of Dynamat from Halfords or an ICE dealer. Take it to the dealer and ask them to take the sub out, stick a sheet of it in the enclosure, and use the other bit to cut up and stick on the back of the panel. Not vibrations and 10 times better sound. Or do it yourself. Almost all cars with 'subs' in them rattle. No car is built to take 40Hz bass frequency at high volume, not rattle and make money.
  4. Looking good Si. Mark, get pictures up of this dash.....

  12. Depends how far you want to go mate.... JL's knock Kenwood speakers into a cocked hat, so go for those if they are your choices. 6" 2 ways up front, 6" coax's in the rear and one sub can theoretically be run off one 5 channel amp. Will PM you......

  14. The draw has been done through use of giving each name a letter and using an online random generator........ this highly scientific of approaches meaning....... 15. Loving it Ricky! Mate of mine has a blue one and we had a go at detailing that the other week. SO many little bits of painted detail on the thing!! But it does go like the clappers. Enjoy it!

  17. very nice bit when are you going to clean it properly ?? When I can get Photobucket to upload my more recent photos you will see what it really looks like. That was taken in the evening in the garage with my rubbish camera.
  18. is he okay? Yeah, surprisingly walked away from it, after the marshalls put him out! Burnt his hands and eyebrows, bruised arms and legs but considering the impact, not a lot wrong at all. Lucky!
  19. I'll continue setting the trend......!!
  20. Ginetta G50 - or it was. Tapped by an Aston on the track. He's on the right side of the barrier, it is when it digs in and goes over it nearly goes over the barrier!

    Binned it

Sorry to see this, glad you're ok. A bit of T Cut and you could sell that in the US though!!
  22. It should take no more than a couple of hours to sort out. The wheels get ordered from a wheel refurbisher in the UK. The wheels get done by this firm who then send the set to the dealer to swap the tyres over and give you your car back. Two points - get signed confirmation from the dealer that they have received the pictures - it can save weeks of pain. Secondly, get to the dealers with something to protect the wheels before they go on the car. It will help prevent premature corroding again....
