  1. Welcome to the forum A second hand GT would be the way to go. £150 spent with a decent detailer should correct any paint swirls and get it in top notch condition for you. Look forward to the pics.
  2. Surely the Darwin theory should not not allow the combination of more money than sense AND no taste??
  3. So don't clean it otherwise it'll look like a 'treasured little gay 4x4' I look forward to seeing the clay bar and deep polish results then!! How does it drive?
  4. You're not allowed to clean it! It's a 4x4, keep it dirty!
  5. Do you have a link to the details of the cars Sarnie? That yellow one looks better every time I see it....
  6. H5

    Insurance

Tell them they make the car as slow as a Micra, so can they adjust your premium accordingly!!
  7. Welcome to the site. There's a few of us around Reading now. Hopefully you'll have one come May 20th for the next meet.
  8. I care about weight Kev, that's why the Lotus is there and is a great car. However, for daily driving that weight can bring added extra enjoyment, such as by big sub in the boot. I agree with what you say, but the title of the thread does indicate a very direct comparison.
  9. I'll bear it in mind next time and you can show me where to get a drink!
  10. Sorry bud, but do you have a degree in missing the point?? My point had nothing to do with gearboxes or the 335i. Is it not the difference between the old M3 and the old M3 CSL, that they went with a carbon fibre roof, but still had nicely stitched door cards etc? That was my point, that it is all a bit of flashy showy stuff for the typical BMW market. You do not see racing cars with heavily stitched door cards and fiddly little buttons in the middle to control the woman telling you where to go. If they want a track focussed car, then ditch that stuff.
  11. Ended up going just outside Brum and went to the Marriot at Forest of Arden. Was alright.
  12. Steve, I cannot begin to wonder WHY we would want to see that...... Top man!
  13. I know Beavis has put a lot of hard work into sorting the arrangements for the Wales run, and drafting the document over the past few weeks. It looks really good mate, well done.
  14. Are you telling me your right forearm has a 6 pack??
  15. Jay, are you still taking Viagra in eye drop form because someone told you it would make you look hard? She would have to leave her vigil post outside your window though, it won't happen. When are you doing your next colouring effort?
  16. dude if its the same price as UK how did you save a fortune? Wanna try wake boarding as only tried water skiing which was fun, whats it like in comparison, is it hard? Because the clothes were so cheap that the difference paid for the holiday....... Genius. I've not waterskied, but for me wakeboarding is OK to get the hang of getting up, and I think after a few weeks of practice you could ride comfortably behind a boat and have some fun. Tricks and stunts are another level, not only with how hard they are, but the injuries you can get if they go the slightest bit wrong. I managed to get up and be going around the lake with varying levels of success. But I only tried it twice, total of about 40 mins maybe. You need a fair amount of core strength and shoulder strength, so you'll be useless.
  17. Where's the 'Jay & Lauren' windscreen sticker!? more like lauren and her byatch H5 Why would she use a forum user name?! She loves you....... she wants to...... boil your bunny!! Beavis looks like he's found Jay's 'roids supply!
  18. If it is real, it isn't a very good quality weave looking at the last picture. It certainly shouldn't be flexible enough to let the ends touch each other if there is anything other than a decorative layer on the top.
