  1. Ask him what address at Vodafone and you'll happily send it there for him.
  2. Looks like an AutoGlym catalogue car. Very nice Stew.
  3. Looking great Jay, and I hope that lass was friendly to you on Friday night. Awesome finish, a real head turner. I will have to remind you that you have gone for the patented H5 engine bay look though, so that is to be congratulated!! Oh, and you CANNOT allow a bunch of Kosovans to clean that - bring it my way if you have to! Looking forward to seeing it at JapFest mate. Are you wanting to meet up on the way there?
  4. If only they spent their time getting on with stopping people commiting real crimes this place might be a better one to live in. Idiots.
  5. Take a look in the ICE section at my thread on my new install.
  6. It may have some credentials, but the main thing that puts me of is, it's still a Golf....
  7. The enclosure behind the seat won't be big enough for two 10" subs volume wise. There is just one in the standard location. You would need to use the passenger cubby as well. Why are you using two 10" subs btw?
  8. No worries... 1. The interface is a PAC one designed for the car. But the switches in the steering wheel were opened up and resoldered to allow it to work. My electronics knowledge is next to none so can't be of anymore help there, sorry. As for what the buttons do, none of them control the phone. The phone control is through the bluetooth unit, and not the headunit. As such, not possible with this set-up. The buttons do volume, track up / down (or search on radio) and the speak button does source. No other functions set-up. 2. Dynamat everything you can that can resonate or flex is the general rule. The doors get so much as they can absorb so much of the speaker's energy and make them so inefficient. The sub box is built with it in the fibreglass, and there is Dynamat through the car wherever there is benefit.
  9. At least Tim was nowhere, quite a few had money on him.........they lost I know, it paid for the book!!
  10. Not been yet, but from the pictures my brother has shown me, make sure you are wearing dark sunglasses to avoid being repeatedly chastised by the good wife!
  11. ooh tim has competition my money is on the guy wearing the shirt that should have a volume control LOUD ! Have I got my webcam on?!
  12. will do mate, its achingly mint erm let limiter know as well that is prestine Anyone heading down to Devon for the show??
  13. will do mate, its achingly mint I know all about mint Cossies mate.... http://www.tburnaudio.co.uk/For%20Sale% ... %20Res.pdf This is the car I competed with, I loved it. But I want one for the garage, modern classic IMO.
  14. Good luck with it, and get that cabling tidy for competition!!
  15. I love Cossies! If he ever come sto sell it Gixxer, PLEASE let me know!
  16. The dual mono has a fair bit of clout, but unless you can cross over the midbass at the right point in relation to the sub it will sound muddy. An 8" driver is a fair unit to move! You have the DVD head unit? You could try adding an H701 processor to help with the set-up. I used to compete IASCA and have been to a few EMMA events but sold my competition car a couple of years ago. The pics are in the link http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0 The main work was on the sealing of the door itself. Rather than being ported it is sealed. Porting is a tricky thing to get right as it tunes to a very specific frequency. Let me know what you think.
  17. Welcome to the site You will no doubt be familiar with Mr BigPhil for your mod work from the sounds of it!
  18. Sounds interesting Garry. Presumably you are running the 3 ways active with separate amp on the 8" midbass drivers? You should be able to seal up the door fairly well. My 6.5" ones are only just starting to run in but the difference is noticeable after doing the doors. Got any pics of the install?
