As a lot of you may know, I love my sounds, and after changing from my last sound off competition car I needed the sounds!
My last install developed over time to be one big show piece, used hideous amounts of alcantara and didn't leave me too much of a practical car!
This time, I wanted something that sounded amazing, and still allowed me to use the car for cross continent jaunts. But me being difficult, I also still wanted my JL W7 sub and whatever power is needed to run the system.
So the equipment list:-

Alpine 6 disc multichanger - http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/ind ... dvdchanger

Caliber competition 2 channel amp to run the rear fill speakers
Alpine iPod control unit
Alpine Bluetooth control unit
Steering wheel control unit
American Industries fascia adaptor
Several packs of Dynamat Xtreme
JL Audio power supply - http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_conn ... p?cat_id=3
JL Audio interconnects - http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_conn ... p?cat_id=1
And lots of fibreglass!
Initially the centre bar with the rear speakers in it was going to be attacked but with the size of the sub and volume of box it needed, this wasn't going to happen. So then it needed some clever thinking from The Sound Gallery to work out how to install it all and still have some boot use......
So first steps, rip everything out of the car..... (all pics will follow!)
