  1. And they say the standard of driving is good in this country!
  2. Brilliant, so they will almost always pay me to take it away. My offer has been made
  3. How do you begin to value something like that??
  4. Horses for courses, Rob. Over the urban commute that I used to be saddled with the MINI put a bigger smile on my face than the Zed. On the North Wales roads its very much the other way round. IMHO the Zed's a far better car but the MCS has its moments. Agreed mate. Just in my experience with my Mum's MCS it bobbed and scuttered with little character and it made it tiring to drive for me.
  5. If that fails, go for the ones with funny names.
  6. Nice. +1 on the sticker. Do the ICE first, no point putting wheels on now as we go into the winter and salt and crap on the roads. Get them next spring ready for showing your ICE off.
  7. Tell them you get to choose who you take!
  8. Take them out, show them what you mean and see how that goes.
  9. Have just done mine with Chris Knott, all business use, mods and protected no claims all done (and gf on the policy), for £35 cheaper than Admiral. Gets better when you realise they're more sensible with mods for the future too.
  10. I love the way it sounds, goes and gets admiring looks. As has been said, people don't seem to hate it.
  11. Happened to us on the Lotus. Sorry to hear it, what a pain.
  12. Welcome to the club One major factor that will help your decision, is the way it drives. Knocks a Mini into a cocked hat. Get a Z out on a test drive.
  13. Price and spec may be good, but I would recommend spending some time on the ad......
  14. Doesn't sound too exciting actually..... It's for spreadsheet jockeys that get excited by pastel colours.
  15. If you reported at the time of the service, they should have written it on the service document as something to check. If the date of that document is in the warranty period, you should be able to claim under the warranty. Have you got that bit of paper from the service?
  16. Specific job requirements Overall role The overall core responsibility of the job holder is as follows: • Supporting the Consumer Postpay Retention Marketing manager • Managing, reporting and analysing Consumer retention costs (c£300m pa) • Forecasting the volume and value of disconnections and upgrades Core responsibilities • Monthly management of retention costs and disconnection volumes, with variance analysis against forecast • Development of upgrade propensity and customer decay models to aid the budgeting process • Management of CPW upgrade financials and volumes and analysis of disconnections to assess their performance • Exploit the use of Vision tool to improve understanding of the deals conducted in the retention centres and ensure investment is aligned to value • Analysis of the impact on customer margin during the upgrade process to add insight • Manage the Retention scorecard to ensure it is relevant and assist with it driving through business improvements  So now that someone called Derek is probably doing it, they have probably worked out that it is better not to have Scottish people on the network as they use so much bandwidth with everyone keep saying 'Pardon', or something silly.
  17. Then Nissan need to get some balls with their subcontractors. If it was a fundamental part of the structure, they'd've sorted it soon enough. Car manufacturers subcontract just about every component of the car to suppliers or 'partners'. They should be able to resolve this easily enough.
  18. It will be painful, and they'll begrudge doing whatever they do. (I was offered the position of UK Custmer Retention Manager for O2 about 15 months ago)
  19. Are you going to be getting the train everywhere now Jay??
  20. Can you do anything with that data? Apart from ask the dealership and them deny all knowledge? Walk in there with a bat and see who runs the fastest.
