  1. Welcome to the club. Once you've driven a Zed, you won't bother with the IT rep-mobile!
  2. Nah he's saying: Jesus Christ H5, do you drive a 350z or an E-Type??? You need spacers!!!!!!!!!!!!''
  3. If I can make it I will buddy Yup, right next door to my place of worship.......
  4. 'If' I get out of work at a sensible time I might head over.
  5. Nah, he was saying "You missed a bit, Rob!" No doubt claiming his new foam lance would do the trick!
  6. Either powder coaters or specialist paintshop. Phil at ESR has a place he uses if you're up that way.......
  7. Have heard good things about the PIAA wipers, I have Bosch ones and they are very good. As for the indicators, I think you'll need to do some soldering work and build a mount for LED's rather than a bulb on the indicator front.
  8. If anything it is more sturdy up on the lifters. But in the wind it still needs shutting to prevent it folding over the windscreen! It's more taking a chance to show off some bling!
  9. Insurance is cash up front, and financial institutions like it at the moment. Just expect a fight on your hands to get them to pay up for anything borderline. Also, the aging profile of cars is worsening as less and less new cars are being put on the road with the current credit stuff going on. So the value insured of their portfolios looks less. I did find Chris Knott to be very good, one of the recent traders on here. Have you tried them?
  10. Don't look at any meet pics or you might sprain your wrist.. PMSL

'Kin 'Ell!! Love the BMW guy's comment 'this proves the drivers seat is the safest to be as the driver will always protect himself' One lucky mo'fo!
  12. I'll beat Chris to it and have 'Twin Tsshhh'! I'll let you know what it dyno's at, and whether I get two new girlfriends, of course.
  13. And one other point, I won Best I.C.E. at the show, and got a trophy as reward.
  14. I will post more pics up later when I can get the camera working.... Ah yes, the flags, the club has some large sail flags for advertising the club at shows, big thanks to Big Phil and ESR for their help with these, and Mike for the design work. One point to note, an apology from me to Clarkie (I dinged his door, Dent Tec to do their stuff at my expense ). Good to meet more members of the club, and I managed to do 443 miles on a tank of V-Power. The round trip took about 6 hours of my weekend.
  15. I wouldn't worry about the tyre wear too much. A replacement set of Toyo's / MPS's / Falkens will be a good improvement over the RE040's they put on as standard. Quieter, grippier, more predictable.
  16. Questions answered so far. Welcome to the club
  17. Welcome back to Zed ownership! Will you get to Donny? We're organising a stand there. What are you plans next on it??
  18. +1 Brilliant stuff, not shiny either.
  19. Most of the price difference is usually between GT and non-GT cars. Take a look in the FAQ's and all those questions will be answered there for you. Imports are not to be steered clear of, no. It depends how much you want to spend and what you want to do with it. Best thing to do is find one you like the look of and a lot of them people on here will know about and will offer opinions / advice.
