  1. Thanks for the info.
  2. Welcome to the club Pictures, mod lists, anything that lets us hear what you've been doing and for Sarnie to still tell you that you need spacers / new aerial!
  3. And proving the point why you should keep your window shut when on track!
  4. Like you say, whoever's car it is has already been modified by the grass
  5. Sorry bud, but then how the hell did you get it cheaper? I thought the only way to pay less tax was on imports that were classified as light goods vehicals or whatever it is? Ian: looks like you got unlucky and they classified your car correctly and charge you the "right" amount of tax. Some imports come in as light goods vehicals and get lighter tax because of it No worries mate, still a Zed regardless. No idea, maybe because of the plate it was on or something? No idea, but I'll take it since they've just adjusted my tax code, again!
  6. £210? how? Mines £220 for 6 months and £400 for 12! Cheeky scumbag imports thats how! My mates Evo gets taxed like that, even worse, he gets it taxed as a 2l (not even turbo) so it costs him half what I have to pay Excuse me, mine is a UK car from new!
  7. +1 Not that I should be celebrating paying tax!
  8. A combined home and car detailing company!
  9. Welcome to the club Take a look in the FAQ section and fire away if there's anything not answered there.
  10. We have e-cloths and a shiny work surface too, and for the final wipe still use the glass e-cloth. But for the car, and in place of the microfibre e-cloth in the kitchen you will see a very clear resemblance in the labels on these. Or at least in the couple of batches I have bought you can. And I have to say on the car they are brilliant, and really buff the car well. (Also, use Barkeepers Friend for the metal work in the kitchen )
  11. Yep, e-cloths work really well. But if you want a bargain..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10x-Ultra-Soft-Mi ... .m14.l1318 And there ain't much difference from the e-cloth
  12. I have to say that IMO the Megs NXT wax is hard work for not much return..... If you were still getting haze, there is a chance the polish hadn't been removed properly, or that the microfibre cloth was full of product. Did you use new / clean cloths for the removal? What Nixy says is half right. Gunmetal shines brightly! I would suggest a R222 / Dodo Juice / Poorboys wax and I think you'll see / feel the difference. As for being knackered, that shows you've done it properly. No pain, no gain.
  13. Exactly. Unless you need 4 seats In which case why buy a 2 door car Around the TG track a Zed is equal to this particular model of rep-mobile.

    My new Z!

Welcome to the club Lovely modded Zed.
  15. Agreed. I've got a Poorboys glaze as my final effort before sealant and that does a brilliant job. As well as smelling like a double lolly!
  16. Kinda yeah. You can do both kinda with either method, just needs less / more effort accordingly. What was the advice?
  17. The info you've just posted shows a hard and soft wax for each colour tone! Ignore - post changed!
