  1. If I were Nissan I'd be more worried about what the prices of 350Z's will do to the 370Z. For sure it is a step forward, but if you can get a 6 month old 350Z with similar spec / performance for £20k, will you really want to spend £10k plus to get a demo 370Z??

    Bigger Brakes

And there's also a member who has just gone the AP Racing route as well. Take a look around, there's plenty been done. Advanced ME are another trader who do brakes, all the people listed can help you with the decision.
  3. You will still need an adaptor to make the steering wheel controls work, but you won't need the PAC if you are effectively ripping anything with BOSE / Clarion written on it.
  4. The month end target bit is fable. Most targets are quarterly, and they're not all calendar quarters.... If a dealership is struggling, it will listen to you and you will be able to drive a deal. They want to survive just the same way you want a good deal

    350Z CRASH PICS

Zed did it's job. So did our US friends!

    Instead of the GT-R

Bit different to the GTR, but a nice choice there Tere!
  7. My brother got pulled out there the other day. He was doing 71 in a 65, and when they realised he had a UK license they just gave him a warning. Didn't even pin him to the floor with a Sig in his temple!
  8. Welcome Mr T! Introduce yourself and show us your refurb'd wheels!
  9. Ah, the good lady's birthday then! Will put it in the diary.....

Cayan S perhaps, but I took a Cayman around Thruxton and wasnt massively impressed with it. Sure it feels about as good as the Zed (and probably quicker), but it just seemed to lack something. If I was paying that much more over a Zed (in price and servicing), I'd want more. Saying that the interior is much nicer than the Zed. I'm holding out on the 370z Oh yes ........ the S but i thought that went without saying Of course...... The price and looks are what threw me. I parked it next to the Zed and thought there was no way it looked better than the Zed. Then there was the price. By the time you have a CD player and stitching on the seats (it was 6 months old) it was still £40k+ at the time. No way is it twice as good as the Zed.....
  11. I think some of the better workshops do use water based now, the same as the manufacturers. The couple of places I use do use water based paint. IIRC, the water based are a bit harder to match.

Change my post bud, sorry! I don't like the looks of the Cayman, but to drive it's a bit good.....

As long as they're Coupe's, I'd agree. The Cayman is an annoyingly good car too.
  14. How bizarre - I hope it's nothing terminal for Marc (he's a member on here)

    Skyline R34 GT-T

Only experience I had with one was when I was entering Luffield on the inside of one in the Zed!
  16. It's not the heater you need as much - it's the air conditioning. Air con de-humidifies the air so will be better at getting the cabin moisture free.
  17. Let us know when this will be. With next year looking busier and ESR no longer in business, my trip up north will have to be carefully scheduled.....

No, 911 Turbo. Nice choice, not the best time of year to be learning how to keep an Beetle on steroids on the road though!!
  19. Yeah, it can be a slippery slope!! It doesn't have to be obsessive at all, but a little care can make a big difference. Two bucket method to wash and a wash mitt and you'll be good. Finish with something like Meguiars Ultimate Detailer and you'll get a nice shine too.
  20. Welcome to the club Nice looking Zed, and they're all made in the same factory in Japan as has been said.
  21. If this is the first time you've used a car forum, you might like this one! For standard driving, then the EBC stuff will be fine. If you want a bit more stopping power then you could add Ferodo pads with the EBC discs. Our trader's links are on the front page if you want to have a browse. Any questions, just ask! As for fitting in London, it depends how handy you are with a spanner! It's not hard at all to change discs and pads yourself. If you want someone to fit them for you, I would suggest a short drive out of London. One of the members from the Croydon / Kent / Essex ways will no doubt have some recommendations.
