  9. The DVLA have to see your Insurance to issue your Tax Disc, which means you have to get your Insurance first. I'm not an expert on this side of things and I could be wrong, but I haven't heard of an Insurance co. issuing cover notes on the VIN. I think you may well have to have it on standard plates and then transfer your private plate to the car later. This makes sense because if you ever sell the car and retain your plate the car has to have a number to revert back to... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news There should be no problem with an Insuance Co. insuring on VIN alone , standard practice when I was bringing in motorcycles from overseas

  12. as you can see I hate disabled badged cars I had a real bust up with a driver when I tried to get in my fathers drive a few years back and found it blocked by a disable badged car I waited for 1 hour for the owner to return so I could tear them off a strip, saw this guy swanning up the road obviously nothing wrong with him.. he was carrying two heavy bags of shopping b0llocked him black and blue and smiled as he drove off with 4 flat tyres Revenge is sweet..
  13. Yeah I was thinking that, but didn't want to be the first to post it I thought the disabled badge just allowed them to park in the specific disabled parking spots and not just randomly where they feel like it no that badge means they can block the road with complete immunity...
