  1. here yo go from a previous post of mine.... JDM Specs Base---17" wheels, ABS,Brake assist,TCS,limited slip diff, xenon headlights Version T---- leather seats, seven speaker bose Version S-- 18" rims Brembo's and VDc(instead of TCS ? )but no leather Version ST--leather +Version S spec rear spoilers/sat nav and side airbags ordered as extras on all specs + loads of other Extras not seen on UK cars like auto fold mirrors ,different steering wheels, footwell illumination etc etc... this info gleaned from the 350z Car Story book by Brian Long (blame him if it's not 100% correct, but what I have found out in 12 months of ownership it looks to hold water )
  2. Didnt think they were allowed to sell them, or am I being dense? yep I think your right shame though
  3. Thats what I heard too....loads of sales hype IMHO You must either have a) a light coloured car or live in a soft water areas. These reduce the hardness of the water thus removing all the watermarks you get on your car if the water dries out on your car while your cleaning it. Its nothing clever. You could get the same effect with any water softener out there its just its in a handy to use packet. I have rusty car but honestly cant say I have noticed one iota of difference I dont think I'm in a particularly hard water area
  4. generally you hear this on initial take off, a distinct click / clunk
  5. antiroll bar bush a bit dry perhaps ??
  6. Admire his nerve, last system I saw sold fetched £20
  7. See if they will put a Nismo Exhaust on for you
  8. Creaking rear ...sounds painfull
  9. Sorry if it's any one on here , but there must be loads of these gathering dust in peoples garages, I know I've got one in mine http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/nissan-350z-origi ... dZViewItem
  10. Thats what I heard too....loads of sales hype IMHO
  11. I bought one , dont bother...
  12. I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from Morrisons for £9.99 (wish I never bothered )
  13. Cat 1 is just the Thatcham testing facility standard... most of the JDM cars will come with an alarm that is far superior to this standard, but you still need a certificate to say that it exceeds this standard,Dont get conned into having another alarm fitted ..simply get a registered alarm installer to state in writing that your car has an alarm meeting Thatcham Cat 1 standard(you'll probably have to slip them £20 or so )
  14. I'd go for physical goods rather than "service"
  15. Just another thing to check on a used car , make sure it's got the locking wheel nut key

    recalls?

No I've not heard of any ?
  17. looks a handy thing get one bought and let us know what it's like

    recalls?

Also I think you'll find if Nissan UK ever issue a recall for clicking axles say ,only Euro supplied cars will be affected..JDM's will have to whistle for any rectification work.. only safety items will be Worldwide recalled
  19. lomoto

    recalls?

may not apply to JDM's though unless it is a safety matter
  20. I thought the same and mine was modded in about 4 months
  21. chipsaway or similar should sort it out Worth having a moan to the company that owns the vans..you never know
  22. In my experience extended warranties are generally worthless, with get-out clauses a plenty .. Better to save the money you would have paid in the building society..bear in mind also most warranties expect you to have the vehicle covered serviced at time intervals as well as mileage ... They also wont cover the things that will give trouble on older cars, Clutches for instance..
