  1. mate i hope you find something permanent, i know how long you searched for your perfect Zed, i'd hate to see you have to hand it over to someone else.
  2. if you get a location up most of us can recommend somewhere worth a visit for paint work to be done. i'm in the suffolk area and know a very good place. but if your up in the highlands i doubt that will help much
  3. oh dear must have been all those cocktails in the 80's, fried your brain
  4. my guess is the quality should be almost identical. if you do end up going that way and need some new vinyl lettering let me know and i'll sort you out.
  5. thats the thing with car modding, so much you want to do and so little cash to do it with
  6. looks really good, as for matching in the fluid and battery lids, you could easily sell your old ones on and get the new set to match. be about a £10 - £20 spend on new covers to match in if you sold the old ones.
  7. its more of a minimum requirement. the Denso are a higher performer
  8. i told my father in law this one today and it made him laugh
  9. needs some music for the occasion, although i feel a tad late, looking at your post count now
  10. look at the invidia then i have it and its true dual through to the tips, but they go into a rear back box, the pipe work is in side so the gases never mix but it still keeps an oem look to it.
  11. i don't mind that, its quite suttle. its not in your face.
  12. you've beaten me too it, i was thinking of bringi ng my refurb forward as i'm still on holiday.
  13. I fitted them to my wifes golf. Come with all the I structions you need. To be honest I think they are a bit pointless but apparently they are now the law. If it was my car I wouldn't bother but the wife insisted. They clean off fairly easy with some meths.
  14. Personally for me anything over 900 is too much and means I'd leave it a couple of years before I think about buying the car. But if your happy paying that much then fair doos. I'm with adimiral 2 years no claims 2 accidents and 3 points all for £500 a year. And that's at 27
  15. i think we need to open up a new special section on the forum for those of the slow variety. it can have lots of pictures for them and a colouring in section,
  16. i think jays away at the moment, not seen him post much recently, i suppose i'll have to wait for the updated pics
  17. i'm going to have to wait ages to sell mine 2nd hand now good luck with the sales
  18. But then you get watermarks not that i've noticed because during the waxing stage the terry cloth removes the water marks
  19. avoid nissan like the plague, they are over priced and generally (although not always) incompetent post up pics and as for the gearbox, i think its just going to be extra hard work because it has a short shifter. i had one on a previous car, and it just requires more effort. you have less of a lever to use hence the extra notchy feel. its ni on impossible to fit a short shifter wrong, unless your blind.
  20. congrats, show us a pic when its fitted
  21. just seen the new one made me laugh as my cats love casing flies
  22. i let mine drip dry, that way i get no swirls
  23. nearly a year for me and i love it, always find myself looking out the window at her, and any excuss to drive her.
