i think i could be up for this, the price issue was more to do with me forgetting what it was, if i remember rightly that was for a generic map to suit a colleciton of mods, with 2/3 RR, and then you could pay extra by the hour to have it tuned further to tweek it if you so wish.

FWD is for old ladies but if you have to go that way i can highly reccomend the 306 GTi6 another one of my previous cars and you can pick them up for pennies these days. 167 bhp 6 speed box bit of a sleeper car, very suttle but a fantastic B road weapon. very light, and if you were inclined you can drop an M16 engine in.

without sounding rude, have you looked at other cars as well, 4 years seems an awefully long time to save up, was just thinknig you could start having fun in something sooner for less money. a lot of us worked up to the zed and had some craking cars which are just as good fun. as an example i had an MR2 roadster, mid engine, rear wheel drive, uk cars had LSD's half the power of the zed but also about half the weight as well. and you could do a turbo conversion on it for about £2.5k and push nearly 300bhp with out major reworking to the engine. mods were cheap as a basic car it wasn't a bad shape but with a kit on the roadster it could look very mean. i'll post up a pic of my old one if your interested. you can pick one up easily for less than £4k and they are awesome fun to drive. i suggested this as i feel bad that your not having some rear wheel action yet, and i'm sure others might have suggestions

super charger is cheaper to do on the zed than the turbo. and probably easier. super chager i think is roughly about £7000 to do, you can nearly double that to turbo it if you do it properly

after seeing give me more powers pics, i think i'm going to try and get one of those moveable ones from the states. so i can have it out for normal driving but hide it away for shows etc.

super charged as the delivery is linear, and is keeping with the car's natural state. i.e muscle. i don't like turbos when they spool up when you don't want them etc. turbos are good and get more power, but super charger is all the way through the rev range.

should be less than that at 4 years NCB, there are a couple of good forum based insurers that do good deals. alot of people get good deals at a young age through admiral, also chris knotts sky and adrian flux think there is another but can't remember names. one or 2 might not touch you until you've had the car for a year. but others will. i reckon you should be able to shave about £400 off that, unless you have lots of points or con victions against your name or you live in an extremely rough area?

i love aftermarket wheels but i love my standard more, i wouldn't want to loose the cruise control and stereo control on the wheel.

if the bulb goes just go online to autobulbs buy your own bulbs and do it yourself.
