    new exhaust?

big deciding factor is what your budget is. there are a couple around the £400 mark and then they rapidily shoot up from there. most exhausts are around the £900 mark go to z-store for some ideas, or speak to CS if its around the £400 mark then you only really have 2 choices: scorpion or K2 if you have more to burn then, you have a huge choice.
  3. aww im touched mate you did a good job, and if i had spare cash i'd fit them in a heart beat.

am i right in thinking that your based near ipswich? if so i know a very good body shop at martlesham heath who have dealt with several zeds and are very good.
  5. evora would be my first choice but its way to expensive at the moment i do love the z4 coupe's not the new one with the fancy folding roof though. even though its not as good as the zed it does look good. on handling the cayman S but then its only marginally better than the zed. M3 possibly if i needed the extra seats to be honest at the moment there is nothing that i would swap the zed for.
  6. thats a really good idea, might be worth getting hold of a spare set off R35LEE then you could send out the pre done set. then there wouldn't be a 3-5 day wait. there are so many clicky axle problems that crop up it should work out well.
  7. lol well it will add some red bling to the engine bay
  8. well i just got one for a very good price off zmanalex, and if it does sweet F.A then at least its red and matches my engine bay colour
  9. i have a door hanger style card with my reg on for my carpark and it hangs on the rear view mirror. i can put it up and take it down of my own free while. but its visible when it needs to be. why not make your own version up and stick your company sticker on that. then you can put it up and take it down to your hearts content.
  10. Zmanalex is also very good as well
  11. why do it digital when women could get off their arse and do it for real
  12. had my body kit sprayed the paint code on my car has 4 different shades. all look the same but slight variant of the same colour. my bodyshop had test cards of each paint code options and we spent an hour trying to work out which one was the closest to the original colour. its about 99% perfect there is a faint difference in colour but its not easy to tell. did your bodyshop check testers against the car. mine sprayed twice as the first time the colour came out diffenret to the tester, but it didn't cost me as it was their problem not mine. if they sprayed it wrong its their problem to fix. don't pay for it if it isn't right
  13. search will be your friend, loads on here. but to point you in the right direction CS a trader on here sells EBC yellow stuff pads and for all 4 sides i think its about £100 or up a bit more and there is the ferodo ds2500's also another good pad. as for discs, speak to CS again.
  14. i was just interested to see what peoples opinions on it would be, seeing as its a car forum i thought a discussion on a car part might have been apt. stupid me; should have posted something useful about pants as for engineering degree mine was engineering design and Technology specialising in a wide variety of engineering including Fluid dynamics solid mechanics electronics Materials science and research Manufacturing techniques CAD Design (specifically AutoCAD, Catia V4 and V5) Design TQM project management manufactuing management did lots of other things but can't remember them off hand covered lots of engineering principles but the majority of what i know about cars is self taught and through expereince, reading and being part of forums. anyway back on topic, i can see the point of the ones with the vac lines, and i read the speal on what the science behind them was, but wanted to hear from people who run them to see if there was any real world info behind them.
  15. surprised at that one, your normally full of opinions, just got off a long shift? and actually i'm the teacher with an engineering degree
  16. Ok this is something i've heard mentioned in passing by 3fiddyZ and this is the only one i can find at the moment http://www.car-stuff.com/mmparts/nissan ... pacer.html interested to know how many people are running these, and what peoples thoughts are? i'm struggling to see how increasing the distance the air has to travel will increase poerformance
  17. to be honest i have no idea how it affects the engine, never heard of one before fiddy mentioned it.
  18. I'd be happy for you to take my plenum off when i'm there and you can put it on a stock car and dyno that if it helps would give you and the rest of the forum some comaprisons. is that useful? also any thoughts on the throttle body spacer?
  19. price seems fine to me guys, going to try and fit the HFC's and the new plenum myself. and then get you guys to tune it all together it has curently fitted -Invidia True Dual exhaust -K&N Typhoon Induction kit and will soon have fitted -Kinetix high Flow Cats -Carbonised Carbon Plenum and built in spacer. was thinking about a set of manifolds but its a lot of cost for a good noise.(so these won'y be going on) don't think i've missed anything to put on before the tune up. only thing i can think of is Fiddy mentioned a TB spacer, is this worth it does it make any difference to the cars performance? is it worth fitting at the same time i put the plenum on?
  20. got a few bits to fit, just not got round to it.
