ok that last pic form husky is starting to sway me.
-
i think its me but i'm just not feeling the purple love. always been a red and blue man myself. white calipers will need constant cleaning.
-
buddy club is very good, completely agree with you taddy. hadn't realised yours hadn't been great. i'd say go original then or find something else.
-
i'm tempted to invest in a water butt, rain water is excellent for cleaning the car as it doesn't leave water marks and its free and you can run it through a pressure washer, buy just filling a bucket with it and running a hose from the bucket to the pump. or run the hose direct to the butt.

i beleive some one called carbon forza had a custom exhaust for sale a long time ago that looked like that. what it sounded like i have no idea or if it was any good. but for a custom build it would be a very inexpensive system to have constructed. very little to it so a very cheap option for replacing the rear box and getting a good sound.
-
i think they sound alright. just had an original HKS fitted to my current car and i like it alot

no i wasn't the car is great, i was questioning the quality of the members

Your membership expired when you sold up Ofcourse, there are no ricers in S2K land are there seems to be a lot less; insurance seems to price out most kids sorry, just not my scene, find it all a bit cheap to be honest. might work on a custom buit hot rod or something quirky, but on a jap car its just a bit wrong.

if its got a lifetime gaurentee, then i'd go with it. if it rots out you get a new one every time.
-
nope but i do rinse with the hose and use the wash mit at the same time to take the shampoo off. i have a gun on my hose so i can control the kind of spray. works a treat. i get no water marks as i then moove straight on to the drying towel.

i stood over the 2 guys that did mine. it has been fitted perfectly
-
i had a nismo titanium with the shift pattern tab that went in the top (not the titanium GT) it was and has been to this date the best gear knob i have ever had. didn't get boiling in the summer, didn't get freezing in the winter, fitted the hand well, looked awesome, beuatifully weighted. trying to find something similiar for the S but nothing seems close yet.

and replace and replace and replace several guys on the s2k forum have had about 3 windscreens until autoglass decided to fit an oem windscreen
-
i know that was an issue with some exhausts thought that was the k1, but yes you have to shave a little off the cooling fins so that the 2 don't rub.

oops forgot those extra 4 bhp make so much difference at the end of the day, if you line all 3 models up on the track with 3 unrealistically identical drivers they are all going to finish roughly the same time, we're probably talking nothing more than half a car length in it between each one. (this is in complete stock form) if your in to striaght line drag racing the 276 will have the advantage miniscule one off the line as it has more torque, but the 313 will gain further up as it has more power. best way to look at it is if you want the facelift changes like the updated centre console; lights etc then go with the 297 or the 313. if you want cheaper tax and slightly more tuning options then the 276 is the better option.

not that i'm aware of. might be able to find an OEM 2nd on ebay.

Emm thats strange, what screen do you think it should have mate? My partner has the Honda Civic Type S (2009) and this cake fitted with a Pilkington front screen of the production line. Autoglass have also fitted a Pilkington screen in mine, this doesnt worry me though because there one of the world leaders in vehicle glazeing. I dont think Honda will make there own glass, more likley just rename another manufactures glass. Either way the rear veiw shouldnt be vibrating lol and I hope you get it sorted soon man. Why the change to the Honda? Alex mine is pilkington stuff as well, fit is fine, but the metal fitting part is not correct. i'm guessing the OEM honda stuff is made else where. but honda supply them with their own fixing point. mine fits perfectly. just needs new bolt and screw from honda and should hopefully fix the issue. that or i'll bond it on to the window permanently

They must seem confident in the product, they are offering........Lifetime Guarantee! not everything thats a copy is built of paper and a piece of crap. have a search on here for HKS copies, a few have already fitted them and are very happy. most likely are those who have had bumper tucks.

it is a copy the only issues that "might" arise isnot 100% alignment, but it would still fit, and stainless steel that isn't high quality or poor welds. worse case senario it lasts about 5 years before it needs replacing.
-
sounds like the usual problem, it blows out of the flange at the back box and yes it either mean sa replacement or try and patch it. for short term you could gumgum it. not worth a full repair, an alternative is something like the scorpion exhaust at about £350 if i remembe rrightly
-
only way you would have got to do that kind of stuff is if you were not capabable of passing normal GCSE's, most of the kids we send are SEN low ability or have behavioural issues. i don't agree with the system but thats how it is. i think the idea of technical schools is a great idea. my biggest problem is not getting high ability students and only having all the low ability funnelled into my class. i like teaching them. but i'd love to do so much more. ramble. nice work
-
others have fitted them, think there might be some minor alterations need to be made in order to make it fit, but can;t for the life of me remember what they were. they do go on though, and i like the look of them. i think taddy had one. just because its a copy doesn't mean it wont work properly. worst case senario you need to have a pipe rewelded in a couple of years time as its blown a weld. total ouput would be about £30 to fix it.
-
i'd disagree and say the pre facelift 272 bhp is. has more torque and the engine is easier to tune for bigger gains by people like Abbey. admittedly the ECU on the 313 is better as it can hold mulitmaps etc. also the 272 or pre 2006 all have ceaper road tax

With the standard z's, which are faster the uk or jap spec? They are both the same if you're looking at like for like i.e. pre facelift uk vs prefacelift JDM I've been looking at the GT4 model and also the gt pack for the uk, which model gives the best performance? GT pack makes no difference to performance i.e. BHP as it was just cosmetic and kit upgrades like electric seats, heated seats, leather, brembos 18" rims instead of 17" think there were a few other things but all the differences are in the FAQ section stickied at the top. GT4 was just a limited edition which was basically an earlier release of the facelift with special alloys and a plaque. and came in 2 colours yellow and black and a playstation My insurance quote for the GT4 was quite a bit higher than the gt, is it worth the extra £? if you want the badge prestige of telling your mates you have a GT4 then yes or if you specifically want it in yellow. Sorry if any of this is noob style questions, just can't find much concrete info on the net and figured that an owners club would provide the best info . all the info is stickied at the top of most areas.
