  5. In this day and age the $$ vs BHP vs MPG . . . closest you will get is a Dodge Demon, Grand Cherokee TrackHawk for example, pretty sure they will drain your fuel tank pretty quick and are relatively inexpensive for the BHP you get . . . but they are still pricey and out of the majority's reach.

    All Season Tyres

All season tyres are a bit hit and miss in the snow anything more than a few mm and you may find them rubbish, you would be much better off having a set of "winter tyres" they are much much better in bad conditions. Just get a set of steel rims with them on and chuck them on for the cold months of the year. When it snows here the amount of people with "all seasons" who end up in the ditch is staggering, but then most of them drive like bell ends in crap weather. For someone not skilled in winter driving, then winter tyres would be a must IMO.

  12. I will be waiting for the new Bronco to be unveiled before I make any car plans. if it looks crap I will get a newer wrangler . . one with aircon this time as mine is a sweatbox in the summer or maybe a small truck like a tacoma. After yesterdays drive up to the local ski place what ever I get must be 4x4 and off road capable.
  13. Whats happening with this? are you still stuck in Ikea's one way system? I would have thought that a man of your calibre and military history would be able to escape the clutches of the big yellow & blue building. Would be a bit embarrassing if we have to call the SAS to come and rescue you!
