Its a sod having to ride back to Basingstoke from Green Park. The wind is nearly always Southerly which means I get a push in and into the wind all 20 miles home My heart sinks as I come up to Green Park to see the blades spinning away, I always wish they are stationary as it means an easy ride home

How things change,when younger and into my running (OK a lot younger ) we used to look for hills so we could sprint up them. Sad or what ?
They are designed to always face into the wind, designe of the blades I think.
They would have been locked because of too much wind. Produces too much torque in the gear box. (or something like that )
