Its not only the Nissan that doesnt run at its quoted figures.... Most of the "S" derived engine in BMW's dont either... I think they will run tests in perfect conditions,nicely run in,perfect temps,perfect air density etc etc to get the best possible figures. Using my arsedyno my 370z feels very similar to my previous Z4M and 911 C4s....

Mine made 311 bhp totally stock Would ha e thought it might get a bit better when it loosens up , only on 9k

Yea... Hate is strong...... Maybe like/dislike...? Tunes are good enough..........Just.. Dont like that after button off,the car is dead..... so of window is down or mirrors out then you have to go through the motions to fire everything up again..

What do you love/hate about your 370z ? Love.... Looks....Stunner...Definitely a "look back" car.... Suspension and brakes are very good for a standard car.. Wheels...Rays 19" are mega.... One of the only cars i havent wanted to change them. Insurance is cheap Goes very well when asked. Hate.. Cabin noise No rake on steering wheel VED rate... Exhaust should be better from OEM...

The ST205 GT4 was on par with the Escort Cosworth of its era in terms of performance, and slightly down on an Evo, but hey most cars worth double the Evo money were also down on it. The ST185 GT4 won three consecutive WRCs until the Evo's came along and murdered everything. Toyotas of that era certainly did 'do' performance and the 2JZ engine in the Supra could be boosted to something like 500bhp without forging, it had phenomenal performance and engineering. The ST205 has the superstrut suspension which makes it incredible in the corners, but also came with 250bhp as standard, the GT86 it appears has gone the handling route like the ST205 did but in modern day terms 200bhp is a missed opportunity, as much as chuckability is fun, you still need to go in a straight line at some point and having a car that looks like a GT86 which doesn't deliver is a big no no in my book. Yep... I had every generation of ST GT4 celica.. I loved them.... but they never was quick... A half decent Subaru would kill one and the Evo was at another level... I worked for Ralliart as a tech in the late 90's and had some great days in some serious weaponry... At the time I had a Starion Turbo with 300ish BHP... Fun times 😂😂

X100 or X150? Why'd you swap to a Z34? X150 I sold it because I wanted something newer with lower miles as my other half is gonna be piling on the miles,as we use the Z as a daily too.. I'm looking for a 5.0 XKR in the new year though I'm envious Done be... All similar money to my 62 plate z34 .... XKR was cheap to insure too.. £212 I desperately want an F type ... I think they are beautiful, but not in my price bracket...residuals are brilliant too.... the coupes have been out over 3 years and have not lost a great deal of money.. 😢

''Tis true If the GT86 had 280-300bhp it would be a great motor .. The GT twin cams and GT4's I had also lacked performance in comparison to other manufacturers cars at the same time, despite driving brilliantly they just didn't have enough go.. Perhaps it's just what Toyota "do" ... 😳

I have had an XKR and few 911's and now a 370z... Had a go in a GT86 as im a big toyota fan and have had many of the earlier sporty models... But it was just too gutless and flimsy. I preferred the XKR out of all of them... An immense car.

I used to sell high end watches.... If i was you i would buy a pre owned/unworn watch... Omega are always good to have money in and within budget...or an IWC spitfire if you stretched the budget a wee bit. Rolex are always popular,but personally i think they are overpriced.
