  1. On previous cars I've used small cable ties to poke through the adhesive/under the badge and use the saw method mentioned above and the badge came off quite easy
  2. 1. Stephen 2. Glyn/W8 BGS I went last year, before I was aware of this site so was parked away from you guys, but your stand looked great.
  3. Admiral Group, for example, only made £336m profit before tax on car insurance in the U.K. in 2016. Hardly worth the bother for them really... Fair point, but how much of this was from the core policy and how much from add-ons and interest from DD payers and MTA fees... The core policy does not make insurance companies much profit.
  4. The Ogden ruling has heavily affected insurance in the past month. Insurance is frustrating to get to grips with. Companies will always try and increase premiums at renewal, they bank on people not shopping around. Newer cars will be easier to insure, even if more expensive, its assumed they are safer and probably have better security features. Obviously certain cars will have a reputation as being easier to steal, statistically more likely to crash etc. An aging RWD car with around 300bhp will attract a large premium, each year they assume the car will depreciate a bit more, yet repairs increase. Also in the first year some insurers sell at a loss, they then increase the premium at renewal to make them break even over the course of the 2nd year, a profit is sometimes not made until the 3rd year. Insurance companies don't make a great deal, the margins aren't massive, for every sale achieved via a comparison site there is a large commission amount payable. I don't agree with 100% increases, my insurer tried the same, I switched for less than I was paying last year, with thanks to Greenlight.
  5. Awesome, I loved that 458, definitely one of my top 3 fave cars.
  6. thanks cool, should have another, the turn out was huge yesterday. A 66 plate Nismo was there and a 2017 GTR parked next to me.
  7. Hi, the first Sunday of every month the Haynes International Motor Museum hold a breakfast meet. Starting at 9pm the meet usually has a decent turn out, especially in the spring/summer. I go to most of them and have seen a few 350z's down there, but the meet seems to regularly be a place for the Ford owners club to bring their ST's down. It would be cool to see some more zeds!! In the past year there have been some decent cars down there from Jaguar Project 7, Lambo Hurracan, Ferrari 458, Jag E-types, MG Xpower, a host of M cars, AMG's etc as well as custom hotrods. It is a real mix of cars. More info is in their website, but the address is Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil, Somerset, BA22 7LH
  8. If I wasn't going on holiday in 12 days I'd bite your hand off. If you still have them both when I get back I'll take them both.
  9. Hi, recently got a custom backbox replacement made by Topgear in Bridport, its a Longlife system, they also do Powerflow. It looks and sounds great and was under £400.

  13. Looks awesome at the moment mate, love the new front end
  14. Quick question with the 370z fog light. If it was foggy and you had the fog light on, what would happen when you brake as I assume it uses the same bulbs?
  15. Wd40 has really improved my handles, opens 70% of the time now.
  16. Just clicked through the banner for a quote, find it strange the list of mods is so small, so all but one of mine are listed as 'other'
  17. Thanks for your assistance in organising a call back, shame you couldn't give me a competitive quite. Your advisor told me I would be doing very well sticking with Hastings
  18. Mine won't open from the outside either, I think I need to have a go at lubricating the mechanism, it doesn't seem to disengage fully at the moment, don't think its fob related, more a mechanism issue.
