    New Mats

Its the opposite mate. They can be pressure washed and are water resistant so should be a lot easier than traditional mats.

    New Mats

No worries there. They have an anti-slip backing, its a bit like velcro, but not velcro, it works very well.
  4. I had mine replaced on my 2010 370z as the idle was a bit erratic. Mine was done at Horsham Developments and they said that the old gasket was a bit worn, but it sounds like it didn’t really need doing at that point. They also changed the cam chain for piece of mind and at least I know the gallery gasket will not need doing in my ownership. They did say that inevitably the paper gasket will fail, its just a matter of when, so it was better getting it done than leaving. It didnt sort my idle though, that persisted until last month (almost a year later) by getting the MAP, MAF and throttle bodies cleaned and the idle reset.

    Cobra Y-pipe

I’d agree with that, if you are looking to increase BHP and want it louder then you have to get HFC’s or decat before mapping, otherwise you’d need it mapped again after fitting them. My mechanic was of the opinion that for £600 for hfc’s plus £500 for ecutek it was too expensive for the 15 bhp you would probably see. You can still get gains from ecutek without thr hfc’s, so he thought that £600 for 8bhp was not great. I think personally with hfcs it completes the process having them. But I am more tempted to get the Y done and then ecutek or uprev. With it being an auto you can’t get most of be benefits ecutek has over uprev

    Cobra Y-pipe

I don’t think so. You basically said the Y-pipe doesn’t really make any difference. I was just stating why I was thinking the Y over HFC’s Thabks for your replay though mate, all colments appreciated. May rethink HFC’s but even my mechanic thinks I would be better off just getting it mapped and leaving the exhaust as it is.

    Cobra Y-pipe

Thanks, my concern is HFC’s would make it too loud, esp with having the mid resonators removed and smaller rear boxes. I would hate to pay £500 + fitting and it be too loud for me. Also really my main concerns are failing MOT emissions, especially with the recent changes to Diesel MOT emissions, it can’t be long until petrol cars get targeted and the fact that they only have a short guarantee for the cost and heard a few things about them not lasting too long. Esp the Berks.

    Cobra Y-pipe

Anyone have this and if so did it change the sound at all? I already have the middle boxes deleted and custom rear backboxes so the car sounds a lot better than stock. I just want it a tad louder. Thinking of a Y-pipe replacement. Don’t want to decat and not convinced by HFC’s. Hope to get a remap afterwards and not looking for large gains, but wonder if its possible to get the exhaust to pop a little (like an F-type does) without the HFC’s or without damaging my car! I know it won’t ever sound like an F-type and I don’t want it spitting flames, just a bit of popping would be great!

    New Mats

Needed to get some replacement mats and got outbid on some OEM mats. I found these after seeing a post on here, and he made them for the 370z
  11. Thanks, Valetnova is highly recommended by me! He is Dorset based (but does travel)
  12. What a great looking car and excellent photos!
  13. Tarmac Sportz, although I would recommend getting a PU one and not fibreglass
  14. Thanks mate, appreciate that.
  15. Yeah, although the boot mat requires a brush, he said it was the first time he had done the rising sun design on a Jap car
  16. I got a very good local detailer to give the car an enhancement detail yesterday. This was a single stage machine polish, light refurb, interior clean and wheel weight residue removal. It had a few defects beforehand, but looks great now.
  17. Thanks. That is very kind of you. I think I’ll struggle with collection though.

    GT-Four

Awesome, thanks for the reply. Will get a set ordered
  19. Does anyone know how much a replacement headliner is? My car has obviously had a prang at some point and the air bag on driver side likely to have gone off. Inside the headliner near the door is sagging down and feels cracked so won’t stay put. I’m guessing going directly to Nissan is probably my only option to get an undamaged one.

How have you found the mats for wear, comfort and ease of cleaning? I’ve asked about some for the zed and he can make them.
  21. Cheers all. I think the issue is coil related, so going to get them replaced
  22. I’m getting pretty fed up with the car at the moment, need this idle sorted. My Mrs TT currently has a leaking water pump too. Bloody cars. Might have to contact Jez at H-Dev and see if he has any thoughts on it.
  23. As above. I am curious about getting my 2010 370z done, its covered approx 61k miles and it regularly has the revs drop when coming to a stop and it feels like its going to stall. Its had the gallery gasket changed by Horsham Developments last year so it shouldn’t be that. I have spoken with a local carbon cleaning company, they use hydrogen to remove excess carbon build up, not harsh chemicals. I’m tempted, but not been able to see a single review of anyone with a 350 or 370z having had it done. Has anyone had the process done?
