  1. Great thanks I had the same 2 messages just 2 days ago when it was minus 5 outside, just cleared the codes and all is fine, only the second time its happened. Just put it down to a minor blip in the system because the car is running sweet as ever. Full cobra exhaust with cobra HFC's, plenum spacer, K&n panel filter. No remap.
  2. Got the Xtreme clutch kit in mine and am very impressed with it. A wee bit noisy low down on the revs , but all the other benefits of it make the noise bearable.
  3. Had very similar done to mine recently, new door £640 +vat new wing £263 + vat, paint and odds and sods £420, Labour £746. Absolute total came to about £2600 Plus a hire car for a week at £120 per day. And please do remember you can nominate the bodyshop you want to do the job rather than one the ins company tells you to use.
  4. You get the pair for that price it was only 8 days and they were delivered, simple plug and play job no messing about with wiring.
  5. Do you mean these?, http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c29acccb2 Or have a look at this topic. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/106161-new-rear-indicator-lights/
  6. Must say the whole getting it sorted thing went very smoothly. Her insurance were great about the whole thing , hassle free. Not so happy today though, parked up away from everyone as usual in a car park and came back to a small ding in the other wing

    COBRA HFC

The cobra system is still on my car and will remain on, love the sound it makes and putting the Cobra HFC's on just made it better to be honest, slightly deeper tone. Only vid I have outside of the car is on tickover you can see both in this post, http://www.350z-uk.c...a-hfc-question/ First vid without HFC and second is with HFC The difference is subtle but it does get angry sounding when you give it plenty of throttle! Just sailed through its MOT yesterday with this setup and never thrown any lights up on the dash.
  10. If the master cylinder worked fine on the old clutch it should be ok with the xtreme one, my car was in the garage 4 days too and I helped with the work to get the clutch working, in the end it was all down to the bleeding of the system properly.
  11. Just for a laugh, tried mine in eco10 yesterday, jeez I thought the car was dying Usually now in sp10 all the time as it suits my driving style.
  12. Fitted the same kit not long ago and had exactly the same problems , make sure the clutch pedal height is adjusted correctly to start with if it isn't you wont get it to bleed properly, this is vital. We were thinking master cylinder at one point too, but once we adjusted the pedal height it was all ok and bled first time after that and clutch was fine to go, but wasn't perfect. So for the next 2 nights I left the clutch pressed down and held with a bit of stick and that seamed to get rid of any air left in the system as it has been perfect since. Did you replace the pivot ball? On mine we replaced clutch , flywheel, slave cylinder, pivot ball and put a braided hose on. It took a lot of messing about but well worth it in the end. COBRA HFC

Plenty of info here & video. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107553-resonated-vs-non-resonated/ I havn't had mine remapped and had no issues with the system at all.
  14. Loads more pics here, http://s128.photobuc...6?sort=3&page=1 None of them with the VR-4 conversion
  15. Decided to go a little run out with my old friends from the FTOOC today. Nice to catch up with them again, great people and great roads around the Lake District.
  16. No brainer to me, claim off his insurance. Had very similar happen to mine recently but a wee bit worse damage.
  17. If you are going to get a job done , get it done right I say. The guys that I use for such jobs are perfectionists so they insisted for all new kit. It was a helluva bill, glad I wasn't paying for it!
  18. "] After 5 days at the body shop the 350 is back looking pristine.Got the original grill colour coded too and front bumper resprayed while it was in, so it looks realy good with or without the Zunsport grill. Very happy with the results. Brand new door and wing and full side painted, and matched very well indeed by the guys I got to do it. Forgot how quick the 350 was after driving a 2.0 rav4 turbo diesel courtesy car for a week.
  19. Drove up that road what we call the Beeftub road yesterday a 6.30 am and back down later on in my sons WRX/STI as my car is in for repair at the body shop just now. Got to say it is one of my favorite roads. If ever we are going to Edinburgh or beyond thats the road I go rather than the motorway. Met an unusual convoy of 3 cars led by a big Audi q series which was a Ferrari an AC Cobra and a Morgan 3 wheeler never took much notice of the drivers as we were on a twisty bit of road at the time, but did wonder later who it all was? If any of you get a chance take a drive up or down that road its a blast.
  20. Silver 350z at Kirkcudbright vintage car show number ending in 393. Very clean and tidy.
  21. Fitted Xtreme clutch with smf in June bought from yourselves. Very happy with it . :D
  22. Some silly female driver thought she would destroy the Z a week past on Saturday night in a brightly lit car park with no other cars next to it, she managed somehow to reverse into the door and wing of my car when no one was in it or near it. Luckily she was an honorable person and sought out my partner who had the car that night and admitted full liability. New door and wing and respray required. Got the go ahead from the lady's insurance yesterday to get it all sorted at a body shop of my choice, was a bit worried when I saw the estimate it might get written off, but the assesor was an ex Nissan salesman and seamed to know his stuff. So I have put the T-cut away for now Happy to know there are still some honest people out there!
