  9. So last night my neighbours decided to have a firework party So when I woke up this morning I was presented with this And this All of our cars ( my Zed, the family Jag and sons fiesta) covered in a nasty rusty ash Haven't done the full polish. Just a good was and dry off and it's seemed to have mostly done the job However on closer inspection it's left little marks similar to bird poop or water marks all over the car Hopefully a good clay, Polish and wax in a couple of weeks should sort it So beware of fireworks going off!!! 15. also if you have been cranking it over, there is a chance you may have flooded it. As it has got carbs rather than Fuel injection, have you tried the tried n tested method of starting a flooded motor. wind the throttle wide open then crank it again...for a few seconds....if it fires, don't forget to release the throttle!!!

  23. Batteries will take as much current as you can chuck at them initially, most reaching 80-90% charged within 10-15 hours if charged at the C10 rate....that last 10-20% can take as much as 48-72 hours to acheive, and the charge rate wlll back off
  24. I'm quite simialr in age, and I have a Jag XF as the "family" car along with my Zed. the Jag is a 3.0 Diesel and i'm pretty impressed with its acceleration (only marginally slower to 60 than the Zed) it does waft along quite nicely, munching motorway miles easily, but it does shift some when it needs to (also has the benfit of a "flappy paddle" manual mode if you fancy taking over from the auto box)
  25. If the battery is 3 years old, I would start thinking about changing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
