  1. I had a friend who lived up in Inverness - hated it! Obviously he didn't drive enough / go very far because that looks incredible. Whereabouts did you stay?
  2. Dude that is awesome! Veilside kit done right too
  3. I was under the impression they're aluminium. At least they are on the earlier z's, quite lightweight as stock.
  4. Nice! The engine bay looks very different without all the stock items at the front of the bay.
  5. Not sure about exact length, but if it helps, it's pretty much a straight path from the back of the headunit, down to and past the gear stick and back toward the armrest. I would budget for the length of the back of the headunit to the back of the arm rest, plus a little length for pulling the phone/whatever up to reach. You can always feed it back down, there's plenty of extra room under the center console.
  6. I had another look at this and can't see any obvious breaks in wires etc.. I tried the bose stereo back in and it didn't want to work either so that's the radio ruled out.
  7. I've had a read through your posts on the roadtrips as part of my planning for next summer's road trip from NI - England - France - Spain - Italy - Switzerland - Germany and back. Looking forward to watching the video!
  8. No worries! It's usually something small and stupid and easy to get caught down rabbit holes.
  9. Have you seen/tried this? (second last post) http://www.350z-uk.c...-body-question/

I guess to someone not considered a 'petrolhead', they are both sports cars and they can't appreciably tell the difference in power/handling etc
  11. I guess when you say 'zee' and not 'zed' it's less of an issue
  12. I'm also happy with mine. I believe they're the OEM discs rebranded (and drilled/grooved etc if that option's selected) I went with the standard brembo pads. Came as a deal from mtec on ebay. At the time it was £300 all in! If you really want to 'upgrade', drilled discs will crack sooner so I would go dimpled and grooved. They look class too. Plenty of threads on here about which brake pads to use for what etc
  13. Now I feel bad for throwing mine in the bin!
  14. As a bit of background, I purchased an android headunit last year and everything has been working fine up until now. My car had the factory motorola bluetooth kit with the module/dock for a phone in the center console etc. Recently, I decided to take the bluetooth kit out of the car. When I did this, I blew the mirror fuse, which stopped the gauge lights, radio and the electric mirrors working. I replaced this and now everything works except the radio! I have resoldered all the wire connections between the radio and harness, checked the radio fuse and also all of the fuses in the interior fuse box. Everything else in the car works. The latest development is the flashing airbag light. Does anyone have any ideas because I'm lost for them! TLDR: Took motorola bluetooth kit out of car, replaced power mirror fuse that previously blew and have checked all fuses in interior fuse box and stereo still won't turn on, airbag light is flashing. Cheers.
  15. I bought a 7" android stereo from ebay and it fits fine in the bose frame. You shouldn't have any issues with anything that size. They're all pretty much the same but with different facias/buttons.
