That car is awesome dude, I love the little touches you've given it. Wheels are exactly what I wanted to go for - jr3, right? Are they the black chrome version or just black? Also, are they 18s?
Car looks great, keep it up :-)
That ark exhaust looks absolutely gorgeous! What price is it?? Is there much difference in performance improvements between different exhausts? Which appear to give the best gains??
Sounds great, what were the results from the dyno? Do u mind if I asked what price you paid for the exhaust system as I'm looking to purchase one myself in the next week or two? Thanks
I can live with that! Lol. I've only got four speed bumps coming into my area and nothing really anywhere else so hopefully all is good. Slow and easy does it lol
Must get a look at your thread. Is a V2 bumper lower or something? I'm not quite sure what that is to be honest...
The V2 would be marginally lower, but also a longer nose, so more chance of rubbing on speed bumps etc.
I don't mind some scraping, just as long as it wouldn't be so low that it would rip my bumper off completely or start to beat on my aftermarket exhaust (when I get one) to the point that it does serious damage!
The v2 bumper looks sooooooo good!
Great! I was just looking at your traders section and have noticed a few different plenum spacers are available. Specifically, an angled one - what's the benefit of this vs other variations?
Has anyone tried or compared these against the similarly priced BC racing Coilovers? I'm going to be purchasing a new setup this week or next and I must admit, these look fantastic but I'm not sure just how good or bad they would compare against BC's version.
Sorry for the noob question, I wouldn't be too sure on what to look for but basically, I only want them for road use with very occasional track day use
Well I'm only getting my car from the dealer today but I plan on jumping into modifying it straight away. Engine-wise, I want the basic mods to include plenum spacer, 06 airbox mod + decent panel filter, full exhaust system to include decat and Y-pipe. I'd then also like to have it remapped at some stage.
My car is a 2004 GT model with full Nissan service history and only 69k miles so I'm hoping it's a fit and healthy one.
I'm also wanting to fit coilovers and Japan Racing JR3s in 19" plus a few other styling bits :-)
Can't wait to get my bits bolted on and have it dynod. There seems to be crazy variation between power outputs of similar spec cars. I hope mine is a good'un lol
Thanks a lot man
Yes it is still currently on the eibach springs with the 30mm drop
Was a while ago now so struggle to remember oem springs, and there wasn't much time between having springs fitted and changing the wheels over to my larger sized rotas. But from what I remember handling wise I wouldn't say I got in and was like my god this is a different car, but the car isn't pushed to the limit around bends anyway. By time I got all my alignment and geo redone I was on the new wheels. But definalty better yes . Would recommended them in a heartbeat. Looks 10x in my opinion for the drop and comfort I would say is next to the same as oem.
Wheels are 9.5 and 10.5 both et20
275/35/19 245/35/19 tyres
And the wheel retrim cost £120. Well worth it imo!
Thankyou mate :D
Excellent mate! I love it! How bad is it for scraping over speed bumps etc??
I actually just flicked through this whole thread and it is just amazing!!! Maybe I've missed it within the thread but is the car still on eibach lowering springs? Are they 30mm lowering springs?
How did you find the handling compared to stock springs?
What widths and offsets are your wheels??
