  1. Afternoon all, I'll be getting new rims soon, and wanted to check what the best size tyres would be. Rims sizes are: F: 19 x 9.5 ET25 R: 19 x 10.5 ET25 I'm thinking somewhere around 255/35 / 285/35, which by my calculations should be close to original rolling radius - I just wanted to check that this sounds right to the experts here! I'd also like as little stretch as possible, as I don't think stretched tyres fill the arches as well. I'm lowered on Tein S Tech, which is 17mm front, 14mm rear (as I'm sure you all know). So, would these fit, and would there be any stretch, and if so can I go wider without rubbing issues? Thanks
  2. Probably best to think happy thoughts and move on
  3. Would the Quaife be noticably different from the stock VLSD?

    Oh Dear....

Far from the best looking car they've made (which I'd say was the F1 LM), but it's not THAT bad!
  5. Enjoy your time off
  6. Welcome get some pics up then!
  7. Sheeeit... where's that popcorn I had lying around?
  8. Sounds like a bit of a bargain... I'd probably buy them if you were 2 months earlier Might be worth giving the widths and offsets.
  9. Lovely zed, welcome
  10. Welcome RWD Nissan master race FTW
  11. Oh, and yes I did check it's just water.
  12. Thanks guys... I know my mum had the same thing on her old Saab, but wanted to check with the knowledgable types here Seems reasonable
  13. Hi Guys, Noticed some water dripping from under the car, just behind the front left wheel. I think it's only just after I've driven it (never noticed it before). Anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance
  14. Nice thread... will watch with interest Was it you looking for a brake disc to use for a lamp?
  15. Looks great
  16. Nice back in the P1 / 22B era, I'd have sold a testicle for one of those
  17. Yeah come on, you can't make a post like this without saying what the new motor is
  18. Based on my quick Google search, I have to say that while I do like a big wing, these are just way too big for me. Looks like a caricature - way out of proportion. Good luck though, hope you find what you're after
  19. Man, if ever a thread failed to live up to its title... Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm sure someone helpful will be along soon
  20. Coilover / exhaust hybrid?
  21. All the more important that we go out with a bang (not literally!) then
  22. I'd say 'affordable' is probably the most accurate term. Regarding the power, it's true that when you're going for it the lack of mid range isn't a problem, but I do think a bit more grunt lower down would make it more fun, more of the time Edit: re the 86
  23. Yeah, I did get a bit tired of having to rev the nuts off it all the time
  24. Indeed, and it's a huge shame because having driven my z and my mum's 86 back to back, you can really feel how the weight savings benefit the ride and handling in the 86. I still think the z is a great car to drive though, but that's not because of the performance figures per se... the z is more of a muscle car in how it drives, the 86 more a pure sports car. Both great in their own ways
