  1. Sorry fellas, me and Gumpy are bailing. It's raining where I am and it's a long drive for potential bad weather. Sorry folkes
  2. Hey, good to see another Norwich boy on here. 07731 125979 - Ring this guy, his names Graham. He does work on all my cars, including my 350. He's a one man band local mechanic with very reasonable labour charges (about £30 an hour) Tell him Alex Witham with the 350 sent you.
  3. When can we get payments made and deliveries sent out?
  4. I was melting in Madrid, insane heat over there! You popping down to the Yarmouth meet in your Gtr?

  6. That does look like a decent idea.
  7. The plate off the front of my compressor has come lose and ran away, so a new compressor (or just the front plate and spacer) is required. Don't want to pay new prices so a good used one is preferred.
  8. Can't make the 28th as I'm in Madrid. My private plate took about a week from retention to being able to put it on the car.
  9. I think it's worth more than 6.5k, looks an absolute beauty. That'll sell very quick
  10. I've been a manager of a very well known insurance company for almost 8 years, as of next week I move industry...the above is one of many reasons why, the industry is so 'wishy washy'.
  11. Guys, Aside from the Polished Bliss soft paint kit, are there any here that are good for the 350z? http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-dual-action-polisher/cat_71.html Thanks
  12. Sorry fellas I'm out as I have to repair my air-con, leather seats + sunshine + no aircon = fail.

  14. When the aircon button is pressed with the car already starting, should you visibly see the air con compressor clutch moving, as when I press the air con button the compressor does nothing and there's no noise or visible change to the compressor, the only thing symbolising the air-con is on is the slight rise in RPM and the fan kicking in. Thanks
  15. Chrome and Firefox aren't showing the pics for me, I've cleared cache and history on both browsers. Firefox is saying 'posted image' and it allows me to click it, but doesn't let me view the image. Chrome just shows nothing at all
  16. I can't see any of the pictures on the first page, can a moderator sort this or is this a browser issue?
  17. First car, 1.6TDCI, great car, amazingly economical after a remap, £30 road tax. Second car, Scorpion cat-back, K&N typhoon intake, Hondata ECU, 240bhp, loved it. Third Car, the track bike workhorse, needed it to tow and eat up the miles. I'd have another of these for sure. Fourth car and current daily driver, love this car but will be sold once I can comfortably get back on 2 wheels after a heavy crash in Spain on the GSXR. Bikes: VFR400 NC30's (Had 3 or 4 of these) R6 track bike SV650 Daytona 675 Ducati 1100s Hypermotard GSXR1000 track bike CBR600 RS125 GP1
  18. Ok Guys, car was booked for a recharge and anti-bac today but was advised that I have a fault, the chap seemed sure it was a sensor or other electrical problem...but he didn't fill me with confidence that he knew what he was talking about. The aircon light illuminates and the RPM increases when the air con button is pressed. The air con is warm so clearly there's an issue somewhere. Presumably it's a leak, but could anyone give me some tips on diagnosing as Nissan want £96 an hour to diagnose the fault and paying <>£50 for a leak test at a kwik-fit or similar seems a big throw out to get to the cause without resolving the issue. I know a dye test is probably best but wanted to get some opinions and thoughts on home diagnoses unless a professional diagnoses is required to pin-point the fault. Cheers
  19. £100 all in is around 2 hours labour so it's not all that bad, you could probably do it yourself if you have the right tools but if a nut is seized on you might need to grind it off or use a bit of heat to get it off. If it was my car, I'd do it myself - but if you can't be arsed and have £100 kicked about then get it done at your local garage.
  20. Clark Motorsport sorted me out. DBA discs and DS2500 pads for me
  21. I don't think I can make this lads, I've got a chap coming over to look at a car I'm selling - if it falls through I'll be at the Pier for 7-8 ish
