1. You won't look back that's for sure and you must do some bolt ons! I got stillen intakes, motordyne exhaust and art pipes finished with ECUTEK and this made a massive difference with approx 385bhp compare to my full bolt on de at 300bp. Not sure how much torque was up from the 350z but I think it was around 55 at the wheels. Performance wise the 370z handles and performance a lot better than my 350z. I also just lost 30lbs of my axles by going two piece rotors which made a huge difference. There's definitely more potential in the 370z.
2. Hello, Recently fitted HKS 5003-M40HL spark plugs and noticed that the gap on these is quite a bit smaller than the stock Denso ones and looking through different forums there seems to be a lot of mixed opinions on gap sizes. Im N/A tuned to 332WHP and after having a good drive it seems to have made a positive difference, would a smaller gap really make a difference on a car thats running about 50hp extra over stock?
3. Definitely worth it, sound, look and perform great. Tarmac Sportz got them delivered to me super quick! Im running e370 with art pipes and can still hear the induction noise. Made 332 WHP with these.
4. Took mine to Abbey Motorsport. I know its far but the support afterwards is 100%, I had a minor issue a few days later but a cable and updates were sent straight away for me to upload myself at home.
5. There was a stunning white one on here not long ago, I spoke to my previous insurance company (Adrian flux NEVER AGAIN) who were insuring me on my 350z about insuring a 370z and was assured that it would only increase a little. When I did get round to getting a quote with all the details over the phone a week later they came back at £7000....compare to £1300 for my 350z! Managed to get a decent quote through Elephant afterwards.. Owned my 370 for a few months and no problems so far!
6. Deffo exhaust! And then you will get the bug to buy more which will be intakes and then you will want to get it remapped ECUTEK !
7. Hi, I haven't noticed this before but yesterday I did two hard pulls from 1st but on both times the gear disappeared into neutral, first time with a slight grind. The gears are fine normal and fast driving but seems to not want to go into 2nd at WOT. Car has 27k miles. Could this be the engine twisting on its mounts and causing a problem with the shifter? Clutch?
8. That would be me. Please tell me your joking about the car park!?
9. Always use Tarmac Sportz, brilliant service
10. Bought my first 370z in Pearl white 2 months ago and can say that I've loved every day of ownership. Car was completely standard when bought but have since added; - 25mm spacer all round - Motordyne E370 - Motordyne ART pipes - Stillen Gen 3 intakes - ECUTEK Remap - Stillen front lip - Tarmac Sportz side diffusers - GTR button - Tein Springs (Not fitted yet) - VF1 Fenders (Not fitted yet) - Plastidip alloys - Wrapped rear diffuser - Wiper delete - Tints Still need; - Amuse rear - Spoiler (maybe nismo or amuse?) - Te37 or a multi spoke.. must be light! - Two piece rotors - Caliper colour change - Head light mod
11. I've got both a 350z and 370z after recently purchasing the 370z. - The 370z feels lighter around corners and was also noticed by another 350z driver that drove my 370z. - The 370z has good top end, right to 7500rpm. - Get an exhaust, HFC or ART PIPES, intake system and a remap (ECUTEK) and you will love the car. - I'm running Motordyne exhaust, ART pipes, Stillen gen 3 intakes and ECUTEK and pushed 332 WHP which is probably around the 370bhp area just to give you an idea... - As for a porche cayman I got told by a cayman owner that he could not keep up with my 370z and its a new cayman... Audi tt is a hairdressers car and I wouldn't go near the Peugeot Yeah the 370z will be a bit more rough around the edges than the cayman but is also a lot cheaper allowing you do your own personal touches which will no doubt happen...Zeditus..
12. Anyone know if you add 12% drive train loss to torque? If you do then it would be 283 plus 12% = 317 torque?
13. It's a good amount of power with good suspension, you would get a lot more torque with a supercharge kit though?
14. It was £100 extra for the Ecutek but has far more advanced options and does gain more compare to uprev
15. Yeah I would definitely recommend the ECUTEK for the 370z over UPREV, That's awesome to see its not far behind those set ups! Mark did say this was his second highest from a 370z n/a, the first highest had headers installed but was only slightly more. The car feels totally different now, traction kicks in a lot easier even 3rd gear! I'd been looking at dyno results for a while and remembered one or two from the USA had got over 330, I was expecting to get around 315/320 but 332 made my day haha. Security map is a nice idea too if your parking somewhere overnight etc, My 350z got 267 whp with similar mods so this feels like a decent upgrade.
16. Took a trip to Abbey Motorsport after having my previous 350z uprevved by them, this time I went for the ECUTEK for the 370z. Motordyne exhaust (E370) with ART pipes and Stillen Gen 3 intakes. Stock baselines are around 290 but as the car had the mods already the first run was 313 whp and ended the day on 332 whp which equals to about 372bhp with 12% drive train loss. Completely happy with the outcome and the car is now a little rocket thanks to Abbey Motorsport! Photos to come!
17. Feel a bit better now haha! If you don't mind me asking, did you get those lights painted in the UK?
18. Arghhhhh can't believe I missed this, I'm currently looking to order this kit and have a painted by RT and my car is the same colour as yours....
19. So i've got around to fitting 25mm spacers front and back and now I wouldn't mind dropping the car a little, maybe 20mm and 25mm, will I run into problems with rubbing? Does anyone else have rubbing on 25mm spacers? especially being lowered a bit? Thanks!
20. Love the look of the Ark exhaust, I do however already have a motordyne and art pipes on order, Actually had it on order before I even bought the car ahah
