  1. I had a Cobra Resonated which gave a nice purr and sounded nice when giving it some. If you do decide to go all out on the exhaust then the TDX2 and ART pipes give an insane growl. Cobra is good for the money though!
  2. Basically getting quite a bit of inside tyre wear and not driving in a straight line! Car did have 4 wheel alignment about a year ago but seems to be out again.
  3. Hi, Can anyone recommend any places around South Wales area for alignment set ups? Thanks,
  4. Aha yeah it was white too! They are great looking and sound so good!
  5. Would a tyre that has been put on the wrong rotation cause the judder by any chance?
  6. On the way home from having an Uprev done last Monday I was able to keep up with an F-Type jaguar, even from acceleration. He clearly knew I was behind him and was giving it the beans. He started weaving in and out of traffic which at that point I backed off. His car probably cost 60k more than mine and is probably thinking the same as you.
  7. Yep, and I find a lot of golfs and sirocco drivers all have the same genetic mushroom haircut. I'm 23 and have a normal haircut
  8. Thanks guys, It's a Falken 452 that has 5.5mm of tread. I had a slow puncture so managed to get this part worn falken that matches my other tyres and also similair tread depth. I would of bought a brand new tyre but I'm buying new alloys soon so thought it was a bit pointless buying a brand new tyre. Would a flat spot be noticeable as it all looked in good shape?
  9. Hi! Not sure which section would be best so feel free to move. I recently had a tyre fitted on the passenger front side and straight away I noticed that the ride wasn't very smooth, at slow speed on a smooth surface it felt as if I was riding over rasied lines. If I go over 80mph there's judder and vibration through the steering wheel and at 95mph (private road) the steering wheel vibrates and judder like mad almost like my old vw t4 did! Would it just be the balancing that's out? Chris
  10. Glad to help a fellow forum member. They look good, especially the glitter
  11. whaaat!! Mint zed, lots and lots of goodies there! Good luck with the sale and house though!
  12. Could anyone give me a ballpark cost on how much they think it would cost to have both quarter panels resprayed and the drivers door? About £650?
  13. ahhh, disappointing. Especially after it looking mint around the time of purchase last December. Might be a good excuse for a wrap that i've wanted.
  14. Thanks guys, I've got some poor boys black hole and so will see how much it manages to hide once I get a chance to give the car a clean.
  15. Hi! Removed the throttle body today and gave it a clean with a spray cleaner. I avoided moving the butterfly flap however I've got a slightly higher idle than before, about 1100 at idle. I did search for the reset but a lot of people seem to recommend different ones such as accelerator, valve learn, ecu etc. Which one is correct to reset the idle? Thanks!
  16. This is a shot from about 3 months ago with no visible differences. Would it be impossible to get it like this now with out having a respray?
  17. @*!#, good spotting on the tyre!! The rear wheels must be on the wrong sides after having new discs and pads fitted. Will sort that out now. So with the paint work, if its a case of new paint not being blended in properly I'm guessing its been covered with types of filler etc? What would I have to use or do to cover it back up again? Thanks
  18. I was up in Cheshire 2 weeks ago too but then again it's only just appeared now. Will get onto some places around here to try and get a depth reading and inspection. Will report back soon to let you know the outcome. Cheers,
  19. That would make sense too with the amount of sun thats been down this way lately and the paint only recently appearing like it. Hopefully it hasn't had paint before as surely that would probably mean that the car has had some damaged before resulting in new paint on both sides. yikes. If its going into clear coat failure would this require a respray? Appreciate your help mate as well as the other members, gives me some insight on the possible causes etc. I'm based in South Wales.
  20. Just had another closer look at the paint and if looked at closely there seems to be a type of oily blue looking outline around the edges of the imperfections. Surfaces is completely smooth. Will upload a photo of the other side when my google mail finally loads
  21. Weather has been fairly hot here, I usually wash the car on a Saturday in the afternoon when the sun isn't too hot but this week its been hot so i'ved washed it this evening while the sun has gone. We did have 2 days (tuesday and yesterday) of hot weather around 27 here. Car is parked in the sun on the but the drivers side isn't usually in direct sun light. Has definitely appeared pretty fast as I washed the car last Saturday and this wasn't there :S
  22. I've just found photos of this side of the car and theres no colour change on the paint work so it's definitely something thats happening recently
