When I bought my 54 plate DE a couple of years ago it had around 25k on it, I just acted like it was any other car I've bought an did the usual preventative maintenance as I knew by looking at the old MOTs it had done around 1k miles between some of them. Used it daily since then an apart from the exhaust rusting away an fans stopping working it's been completely fine. I do feel like I'm starting to come into the age an mileage range that the bushes are going though.

Yeah top mount came to my mind as I'm had creaking on previous car an it was top mounts. They a common thing? Haven't seen them mentioned on here much. Is it just like every other car they could just go?

So possibly the drop links then, I would prefer it to be them than the banana arm if I'm honest

I've started getting a creak when I'm turning slowly, it only happens when I'm turning right. It's like a metallic creak almost a knock. Is this gonna be the banana arm gone or possible something else? Thanks

Would a tiny drop of kurust and then fill it in with paint work?

Always had stone chips on the front of the car it doesn't really bother me but I recently got quite a big chip on the wing. I've checked it today an it looks like it is rusting. What's the best way to try sort it.

Just a quick question. I have the cobra resonated system fitted to my car but it's still the stock y-pipe on there. Will the sound of the exhaust change much of I add the cobra y pipe? It's just I quite enjoy the noise as it is wouldn't want it to get much louder or have any rasp to it. Thanks

Ah many times I was stopped on the hard shoulder of the M8 with the fans not kicking in by themselves, having to give them a wee knock to get going Mishimoto fans are a saviour lol

That does seem quite excessive, booked a service today with infiniti an doubt it'll be much more than £120. Just a P1 service mind but had a P2 done there before an had excellent service from the guys

Yeah the problem I had was getting into reverse so looked where the shifter was catching an filed away it didn't solve it 100% but just using the shifter it filed it away by itself. It does sound more like the shifter plate isn't aligned right if it's 5th to 6th

Same thing happened to me, I went for the mishimoto fans and haven't had a problem since an hopefully no chance of the same failure happening again They are incredibly loud though lol
