  1. good find, I may be interested but posting via royal mail 1st class... he'll have a job!
  2. There's MGT Racing, they are skyline specialists but know their way around a 350 too
  3. Theres cougatstore in Leicester, They aren't 'cheap' but then I wouldn't take my Zed to a 'cheap' garage... they know what they are doing when it comes to a Zed... I'd say they were well priced for the level of service they offer! Try www.oponeo.co.uk for good, low priced tyres - not sure on the best place for fitting though EDIT: I was beaten to it!
  4. 6:30am starter! Does your plate end in OGGY or something similar? I think I saw your car parked in Leamington yesterday... gold wheel nuts? Looked hella nice
  5. Well you did say you couldn't promise it would be soon before you checked out the problem. Good news that you've traced the problem & full s/s system that's gotta be a nice surprise. Good luck with the fix. Well, after buying a new pipe and going to swap it over... we found it didn't fit! The mongoose center pipe is much longer than standard and so the Y pipe I bought was too long! I took it to Custom Chrome in Nuneaton today, they sorted me out and i'm running properly again It also turns out that there WAS a small hole in the Y pipe, so it was blowing and not just rattling... All sounds a lot better now... really impressed with the Mongoose system
  6. the guy I bought my car off had done exactly this! My traction control cuts in when I feel it really shouldn't, I had thought it was down to the tyres...
  7. Looks really good, a nice variety of cars! Looking forward to this come March...

    GoPro

Take a look at the SJCAM SJ4000, I bought one instead of a gopro and saved a fair few pennies... they may even have a SJ5000 now its honestly a really good rival, and for what you pay its even better
  9. A test showing Poorboys lasting less than 4 weeks whilst FK1000P lasting 10 weeks... before I accidentally killed it with fallout remover. My argument here is that they say you need to use more than one coat of Poorboys for best results, but FK1000P does only need the one In reality, I may have to give this FK1000P a try
  10. Good to know as I just got that stuff for my new wheels lol +1 for Poorboys wheel sealant from me, once you've put a few layers on you barely need to touch the wheels and the dirt comes off! You get loads in a tub too and its not expensive
  11. You should claim that on the warranty if you haven't already. Although I had some problems with SGS... I purchased the uprated ones as ive got the V2 spoiler and they worked for about 3 or 4 lifts then they were just as bad as the old ones. After sending them an email to request a return/swap, I had to send in videos of it not working (I was asked on two separate occasions for videos by two different people, even after they had replied to me about viewing the first lot). They then got me to send them back and said they would regass them for free, but id have to pay to have them returned to me! So that's postage back to them because their 'uprated' ones didn't work, then postage BACK to me! I wasn't happy with this at all, they only agreed to refund my postage because it was their fault for sending the wrong ones. Turns out (at least they admitted it) they had sent me the wrong ones so sent the correct ones without charging me for postage, and after lots of promising and chasing they also refunded the postage it cost me to return it to them. Since having the right struts i've been happy, they don't provide an amazingly positive lift in the cold but I don't think many do. No problems in the small amount of warm weather we have had in the last 2 or 3 months. In all fairness, the struts are a piece of **** to fit and i'm happy with them now. However, I found their customer service to be lacking and they required constant chasing... although we did get there in the end.
  12. We've got two! Neither of them is Birdie though i'm afraid
  13. Yep that was Manny lol.. I was in the kitchen bit when you were getting a drink then... little lad with the big box of pasta
  14. Cheers It doesn't live up to your build spec though! Think I saw two of you, black tshirts/polos...
  15. Well I never expected to be spotted at work! Its got a V1 kit but with a V2 spoiler....I'm anal about keeping it clean You don't work here do you lol?
  16. ahh ok it wasn't the one I was thinking of... I see them on Charter Ave sometimes in the morning (just off the A45) and exchange a flash/nod/wave with them too!
  17. I couldn't get a quote on an S2000 for less than 3.5k
  18. Didn't realise it had been this long since I posted this! Had it up on ramps today, guy at the garage said he thinks the flexis are rattling but is sure they aren't blowing... Either way its the flexis so it's a new Y pipe to be fitted some point next week Also turns out it didn't have the standard OEM Y pipe... it has a full mongoose system
  19. After having Berks HFCs fitted, the garage killed the thread on the drivers side O2 sensor that goes into the cat so I'm looking for a replacement If anybody has 2 O2 spacers lying around doing nothing too id be interested in them, hoping it will turn the engine light off and keep it off... if you have spare spacers AND a spare O2 sensor then you are brilliant!
  20. welcome to the forum, I'm in Coventry too.. will keep my eyes open! There aren't that many zed's around here though...
  21. got my facelift LED rear lights in the group buy and a cargo net... very happy with the whole process, fitted the lights in about 10minutes! sure to be a repeat customer
