Help....my rear exhaust has broken at the usual place and a trader on here has quoted me a price to repair it and I have booked to have it done but the price is worrying me, I have no refrence to compare it to so don't know if it's resonable or not and as money is squeeky tight due to my ongoing health issues I need to get a really good deal and the best quality resolution to my problem as the car isn't being driven whilst it has this problem, sorry for the ramble but I thought you guys might be able to shed some light on what you'd be prepared to pay for a repair, I would of course dearly love a full stainless replacement but that just isn't an option with my budget. Thanks for your considered input. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Well it's happened, my back box has cracked in between the flange and the bend ( usual place ), took car to independent who pointed it out and that the exhaust apart from that was in excellent condition, so the quest began but to honest it wasn't much of one, phoned Abbey who explained my options repair or replace as money is tight ( disabled remember ) the repair route was decided on and it's less than half the cost of a replacement. So booked in on the 23rd of July Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

Window problem, or is someone targeting my car?
bytespc replied to ZeeCurious's topic in 350Z Technical
Surely an electric window cant be forced down without popping it from the rails = buggered or forcing so hard it breaks the ratchet / mechanism = buggered , our cars need the key to be turned to ignition on for the motors to operate, so more likely someone in your residence is either a sitting in it and operating the windows or b driving it and the same, either way remove the keys from your residence ie keep them on your person at all times and if the incidence then stops you have your answer though that then opens a whole new can of worms about trust issues. -

Bugger and Churchill used to be one of the best.....in 2003 my 1997 323 V6 above average miles stationary at lights , rear ended by a truck driver on the phone , made an absolute mess of the car, rear hatch with curved glass , petrol tank , bumper and lights etc etc , no quibbles no input from me just repaired it & you'd never know it had been in a shunt. Sad day

Yes I just saw that as well bloody BBC and there guestimates......still loads of results to actually be declared will be interesting to see the final result

Our first past the post has to change UKIP with 30% of the vote and only a possible 2 seats is a slap in the face of democracy ( the small d is deliberate )
-
Really no bias. .funny how the BBC had to publicly admit it was and that the audience was loaded with lefties .
-
Considering he was deliberately omitted from the main leadership debate by the leftie propaganda machine BBC he performed better than any other imho as he is the only leader to actually answer a question put to him, weather you like the answer is another question but at least it gives you the chance to make an informed choice rather than just be phobbed off with sound bites and lies.

Why should people not have a view? If you dont attend a football match does that mean you cannot comment on the game? I have heard this a few times, andwhy can someone not have a view just because they didnt vote? Plenty of people give a view on my cars I buy but none of them have actually owned one? I just find this idea that you 'gotta be in it to have a view' just a bit odd. Of course you can have a view, but if you choose not to vote, its redundant and immaterial, certainly in my opinion. A better analogy would be, you decide what your next cars budget is, but let the fourm decide what to buy for you. No one would then be interested in what you thought as you relinquished your freedom to choose. If you believe the media they are I will echo your thoughts elsewhere, If a mature intelligent individual cant side to one particular parties policies on the whole, i believe that to be just plain obstinant and martyrism. There is a party out there that will suit everyone, mostly, try one of the online tests and go with whomever they place your vote with after some honest answers to key questions. And there in is the rub....the mainstream parties are running scared , the vitriol against the party and anyone who suports them is in some instances reminiscent of the tactics used by Dictatorships against dissenters of the established regime and yes I acknowledge the irony.
